But for historical events I would like to go see the coronation of reims of Clovis. The siege of La Rochelle, The crossing of the Rhine by Louis XIV, The coronation of our lady of Napoleon and his victory at Austerlitz and Friedland. The first balloon flight. Follow the first settlers of New France

For historical people with whom I would like to speak, Richelieu, Mazarin, Louis XIV, Napoleon, Joan of Arc, Montaigne, Pasteur, Lapérouse, Voltaire, Clémenceau, Bossuet, Rabelais, Verlaine, Victor Hugo, Jean de la Fontaine, Charles Perrault , Arthur Rimbaud, Chateaubriand.

If my safety could be guaranteed from the impact, I would like to go back in time and spend a week (or so) in the Cretaceous. Probably right here in North America. I would like to schedule it so I could witness the KT impact that took out the dinosaurs.

Somehow I think that's not the answer you're looking for though, as it seems to be more centered around people. I would like to interview Bach or Handel probably.
