First of all, since they are a capitalistic company that receives profits for their products (instead of distributing their ice creams through a central agency) they are very clearly not communists. Also, hating Americans does not equal communist. There are plenty of capitalist countries that hate America too. Additionally, I would like to remind you that there has literally never once been a communist country in the recorded human history. There have been socialist countries that have called themselves communist (North Korea, Russia, China, etc.) but they do not meet the criteria for communism. Communism is, in fact, a fallacy perpetuated by socialists to convince the masses to allow themselves to be economically raped. Read a book.

Fucking dumbass. Communism is defined as a system in which all capital is owned by the collective community. In all of those countries, there was a leader who owned the vast majority of power, money, and resources and distributed fragments of it to whom he chose. This is socialism. As written in The Communist Manifesto, communism can only be achieved after a socialist phase. None of the countries you listed ever went past that socialist phase. They claimed to be Communists and they lied because that's what they do. To be clear, I am a Republican and I am staunchly against socialism. Socialism is essentially everything that you think communism is, but it's not technically political communism because communism calls for complete collectivity which will never, ever happen.

Years ago when B&J started getting upset over some "social cause", I actually wrote them a physical letter (remember those things?) , and their response was something along the lines of , "love it or lump it". OK. My folks taught me to be obedient- so I quit eating their ice cream and explained to Unilever the reason. The corporate suits didn't seem to care either, even though things were business casual at B&J's little' ol' Vermont HQ. Whether or not B&J became the "grain of sand in the Unilever's image", we have still taken our ice cream purchases and those of several other Unilever products to other companies due to their support of socialist takeover.

I am all for "corporate responsibility", and I work at a Food Pantry where about a dozen stores and countless manufacturers give us "on code" foods for the pantry guests every week. We get two deliveries totaling about 50 boxes of food at about 30-50# per box (so about a ton of food per week), sort, divide and pack it in under an hour with about ten people, and distribute it to anyone driving up. No sign-ups, no W2s, no residency requirements, just that the people act like civil humans. ( We DID have to deny one lady who wouldn't at least do THAT). Unusable food goes to a local farm for the goats, pigs and horses, and usable surplus- typically about 15 boxes- goes to a"disadvantaged" church about 15 miles away- - the pastor drives out to pick it up. So about 6-7 local towns by us, another church area, and a farm all benefit from "junked food" and some volunteer labor. If more "low-level, grass roots" support was given to those really in need, perhaps socialist/communist BS wouldn't be so attractive.
