They banned abortion, not birth control, the fact that you're conflating the two really says a lot about your agenda and makes me grateful that you can't vote.
Rape and incest account for fractions of a percentage of unwanted pregnancies and even less for abortions, almost all of them are doing it for convenience and couldn't be bothered to use condoms or free birth control when fucking football teams.
oh, but abortion isn't birth control, it's killing a fetus. Hang on, this is going to blow your mind. But you can take birth control pills, you can get an IUD, you can get norplant, you can use condoms. Hell you don't even HAVE to have sex. So many options for you. There's even other sexual acts you can do that don't risk pregnancy. If your school offers a sex education class, you might benefit from it.
The vast majority of rapes go unreported, same goes for incest.
It makes no sense to me how you’re so adamant about not wanting men to get vasectomies but condemn the women that get pregnant for getting abortions?
I’m genuinely confused, is this a fetish for you? Cause it makes no logical sense that you hate abortions but don’t want to prevent them or put the whole entire blame on women despite the fact that it obviously takes two to tango.
If you promote the law telling women what to do with their bodies than why are you so anti the law telling men what to do with their bodies?
This has nothing to do with women's bodies, that baby isn't her body, it's a separate innocent human that she has no right killing and if she does, she should be charged with first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Here's what you don't want to hear, but have to accept. You are the one who gets pregnant as a woman. So ultimately, the ball is in your court to prevent that pregnancy.
When you learn to drive a car (if you haven't already), they teach you the concept of defensive driving. In other words, you're always to be responsible for yourself and your safety because other drivers can't be controlled. If someone stops short and you hit them from behind, you're responsible because you should leave ample room for other people's mistakes. You have to be willing to recognize other people doing things incorrectly and compensate.
If you are sexually active, insist on condoms and get on birth control pills.
A separate human body with a heartbeat, unique genetic code, it's own body, brain, it's breathing, what more is there? The only difference is that the human isn't ready to leave the womb yet as it isn't done forming it's body. That's not what makes a human a human and I feel bad for you if you think differently. Although it wouldn't be a stretch since you've said multiple times that all cops are bastards even though they do more for you than anyone in the world while putting their life on the line, only for you to laugh when one of them gets murdered in cold blood.
@Rangers the babies in her damn body? Of course it has everything to do with her body.
You aren’t doing anything to prove the fetus is a human being, you’re just trying to appeal to emotion which is quite literally a logical falicy. Rather than proving any logical premise or conclusion you use words like “innocent” and “killing”.
You aren’t explaining why the life of the fetus should be more important than the bodily autonomy of the person carrying it? You aren’t even explain why the life of the fetus grants “personhood” to begin with..
@joedalton you do realize that women don’t just get pregnant on their own. The only time your argument would logically make sense would be if we’re talking about the rare case where a woman gets herself a baby by using her bone marrow. Which obviously isn’t the case, we’re talking about sexual reproduction which biologically means “two” people were involved.
You’re so insistent on removing the accountability from the man that it kind of proves how you’re not pro life, you’re just pro dictating women’s bodies. 🤷🏽♀️
Than you got ranger over here, who believes a woman has nothing to do with the fetus at all? Despite the fact he condemns women who get pregnant, how are y’all contradicting yourselves so easily?
So much projection that I don't know what to say as the quote does say that you can't convince someone who's stupid, but you're so many levels beyond it that I would compare helping you to giving CPR to a car crash victim without a head.
And usually, it takes two people to cause a car accident. Let's remember I specifically stated condoms in the repitoire. And I also stated that 1) You don't have some intrinsic right to have sex. and 2) There are other sexual activities you can do that don't risk pregnancy.
Why are you acting like humans are incapable of rational thought when it comes to sexuality?
@Rangers am I stupid or am I just right cause it seems that way since you have no other argument than crossing your arms and calling me names like you’re a 5th grader. Lol
@joedalton nobodies arguing about the right to have sex but you. My argument was about the measures to prevent unwanted pregnancies from happening. I’m not arguing about other ways you think it could be prevented because that’s your beliefs and you’re obviously allowed to believe whatever you want but I’m at least giving a logical solution, your solution does nothing to solve the problem of unwanted pregnancy but in fact doesn’t even address it? Like it doesn’t exist, weird.
What a stupid statement. I gave you the solutions to prevent unwanted pregnancy. 1) Abstinence 2) BC and condoms 3) Other sexual activities that don't risk pregnancy.
That's 3 simple solutions.
What you are doing is trying to conflate a surgery that may not be 100% effective and may not be 100% reversible with my solutions and acting like you've come up with something intelligent. Meanwhile, it's the same old tired feminist bullshit. You didn't even create this idea yourself, you ripped it off some stupid lefty site or post.
People already do that and it’s statistically proven as ineffective, you aren’t proving an argument with nuance?
My point is if you’re so against men getting vasectomies to prevent pregnancy than you shouldn’t be against women that get these unwanted pregnancies to get abortions?
You’re against taking measures to prevent the pregnancy and against taking measures to get rid of the pregnancy? So you’re just pro forced pregnancies at this point
that's the dumbest thing. no you're responsible for your choices don't push the responsibility off to others. I'm not even against abortions if its for poverty, or other similar situations that are severe
Anything involving surgery is something people have aversion to. It requires you to book an appointment, anesthesia, get a procedure that may leave you infertile... Not the best option. I can assure you most guys just prefer to use a condom.
Well its a shared blame. Both should be absolutely responsible for the malady they indulge in each and every time. Then again , pregnancy is a woman's job and fertilization is a mans job... unprotected sex is both of our Responsibility's together.
Statistically men engage in more casual sex than women. Also stop removing accountability from the men, the “three random dudes” had a part in it too but I have a feeling you’re one of those people who don’t respect womens bodily autonomy anyone.
Instead of being worried about your hypothetical woman’s consensual sex life be worried about better things like the lives of the children some people would force to have just to satisfy their sick religious beliefs rather than founding anything with logic
Those men should stay and be a father as well, there's the accountability right there. I am worried about the lives of children, which is why I'm opposed to the murder of babies, encourage people to take better care of kids, make reports to CPS when I see abuse, and draw funding to improve the foster care system.
Since when was an unborn baby a child? You’re purposefully using this language to try and appeal to emotion rather than logic.
You can call it murder all you want, but if you don’t explain to me how an unborn babies life matters more than the mothers. If you’re against men getting forced vasectomies but pro forcing women to have unwanted babies than it just makes you look like your pro forced pregnancies?
Bodily autonomy means a lot to people, so you’re going to have to explain to me why a fetus has a right over said persons bodily autonomy?
That’s your feelings and beliefs. It doesn’t solve any actual problems and it’s crazy if you believe a child should be born to parents unprepared or in some cases unwilling to take care of them.
"crazy if you believe a child should be born to parents unprepared" I do not believe that. That is why I said: you are unprepared --> do not engage in sexual activity. What did you not understand here?
"It doesn’t solve any actual problems" It does. It effectively prevents pregnancies. Works 100% for both genders. It is not invasive and very safe.
And people have been doing that and it’s been failing. Your argument doesn’t have any nuance. Forcing chastity or religious celibacy onto everyone isn’t going to work cause obviously people are individuals and will make their own choices at the end of the day I’m providing a solution that is actually viable.
"Your argument doesn’t have any nuance." I think that is good quality advice --> no nuances = straightforward, no hidden agenda.
"make their own choices at the end of the day" Yes, they can chose in both cases mine and yours: engage in sex or not. Do vasectomy or not. Unless you want to be a dictator and force them to do vasectomy, which is not so good...
"I’m providing a solution that is actually viable" No. 1a) For everybody: Vasectomies are not always reversible and people may want to have their offspring later. 1b) It costs money. 1c) It is an invasive procedure. Myself, I prefer to not have sex than undergo such surgery. 2) For religious people: it is sin to have sex with blocked possibility of conceiving the baby.
And religious people aren’t the only people in the world. That exist? But if you understand that forcing people to get vasectomies are bad than I hope you also understand forcing people to have babies is just as bad too.
"And religious people aren’t the only people in the world" Yes, that is why I wrote points 1a-1c.
"forcing people to have babies is just as bad too" Of course. No one should force someone to have a baby. That is why if you do not want to have children you should not have sex in the first place as it can lead to pregnancy.
"It’s about bodily autonomy." This makes me think you are talking about abortion here. Well, it depends whether we view fetus as a child or not. If we assume fetus is already a separate entity, then abortion is murder, and thus should not be legal like any other homicide. Instead of creating new people and killing them later, you should not create them in the first place if you do not want them.
How about separating men and women into 2 walled off continents This would really prevent pregnancy of any kind and given the overpopulation of this planet can only be a great thing
That’s not what a vasectomy is. A vasectomy would be disconnecting vas deferens (the things that carry sperm from a testicle into semen) and so for the reversal they just reconnect them
Thank you for explaining that to me! My way would give people an incentive to not ever having a chance of needing an abortion. And of course you know that after a few years reversal doesn’t always work?

Have you heard the news? Birth control for women has been widely available for decades. It's safe and effective.
States like Texas are banning it now though so this is a suggestion I believe the pro lifers and pro choicers could agree upon
They banned abortion, not birth control, the fact that you're conflating the two really says a lot about your agenda and makes me grateful that you can't vote.
Where is the legislation that bans birth control? I'll wait.
@joedalton you don’t have to
www.google.com/.../
This law literally forces victims of rape and Incest to give birth.
it prohibits abortions after about six weeks — which is before many people even know they're pregnant.
Rape and incest account for fractions of a percentage of unwanted pregnancies and even less for abortions, almost all of them are doing it for convenience and couldn't be bothered to use condoms or free birth control when fucking football teams.

🤔
In order for abortion to be murder you’d have to explain to me how a fetus is a human being in the first place?
An organism, that doesn’t even have a brain? That’s medically classified as a parasite?
How is that a human being, explain.
@joedalton

How dare you! That violates men’s rights over our bodies!
How dare you, my body my choice you can’t force men to get Vasectomies lol….
You could always do it in the butt though
Nobody is forcing you to, it was just a suggestion since so many people think it’s ok to take away a woman’s bodily autonomy when it comes to abortion
Women are Responsible for their bodies. Women are the ones that can get pregnant making preventing unwanted pregnancy Their Responsibility!
Women can’t get pregnant by themselves 🤔?
doopayo... But women give they're consent irresponsibly and that's the underlying fact.
I don’t get why all the blame is on the women when men consent as well
Well its a shared blame. Both should be absolutely responsible for the malady they indulge in each and every time. Then again , pregnancy is a woman's job and fertilization is a mans job... unprotected sex is both of our Responsibility's together.

@doopayo ah so its "my body my choice"
but not "my body my responsibility"
Sure that’s a good idea but it’s gotta be voluntary
That sounds like a great idea. (<—- personal opinion) 😁
I just saw the two thumbs-up image… I had thought that an ad lol Priceless.
I ain't doing nothing to my dear scrotum. People can stop fucking each other like rabbits before I do that lmao
lol... they can"t be so broke not to get condom
There is a simpler method -> If you are not ready for children, refrain from sex.
That’s your feelings and beliefs. It doesn’t solve any actual problems and it’s crazy if you believe a child should be born to parents unprepared or in some cases unwilling to take care of them.
Yep, a St John's aspirin held firmly between the knees works every time.
"crazy if you believe a child should be born to parents unprepared"
I do not believe that. That is why I said: you are unprepared --> do not engage in sexual activity. What did you not understand here?

Yes, that is why I wrote points 1a-1c.
"forcing people to have babies is just as bad too"
Of course. No one should force someone to have a baby. That is why if you do not want to have children you should not have sex in the first place as it can lead to pregnancy.

How about we have women get their uteris removed if they want an abort or have sex and not have kids?
How about we just don’t mess with anyone’s bodily autonomy so we can both be happy?
How about separating men and women into 2 walled off continents
This would really prevent pregnancy of any kind and given the overpopulation of this planet can only be a great thing
I am mostly conservative but there is no reason to ban abortion in the first place and definitely no reason for this.
Exactly, at least you agree everyone has a right to bodily autonomy and another person shouldn’t control that
Yes and I agree that that extends to masks and vaccines and any kind of medical treatment.
I think that if humans were to get spayed or neutered. Before they have children. They shouldn’t have to pay school taxes!
Men are told to consider vasectomies to be permanent!
How about just being responsible adults when you have sex?
Nope I don't want that, I prefer a sophisticated vagina cleaning decide.
Just like people don't want the chance of dying over something that could be preventable. I don't want the chance of not being capable of having kids.
And would you trust a guy if he said he'd had a vasectomies?
Also vasectomies are reversible 95% 100% cannot be guaranteed.
You shouldn't ever get one if you want to father children. Every self respecting urologist will tell any man seeking it to view it as permanent.
