If a court order is issued, should a police officer be present to be sure the order is followed through with?

As a woman myself I just want to say I am so sorry to all the innocent men out there who are prevented from seeing their child by the mother of that child it’s absolutely disgusting as for this man the woman partner definitely murdered him the Dad wasn’t any threat to him but as for the guy who lost his life the very moment they said the child wasn’t there he should have called the cops and told them he had a court order to see his son but the mother and step dad are preventing him from seeing his son now an innocent child has lost their Dad
He did call the cops. They just didn't get there in time before they shot him
Yes. Also the father could/should have gone to the court who issued the order and showed how the other party defied the order and then the court would have issued a warrant for her arrest.
It's always a good idea to have law enforcement present when custody disputes occur/ could be dangerous.
He planned to. But they killed him before he got the chance.
Yeah, that's very unfortunate. A lot of people feel they're escalating things too far if they get LE involved early, but... it's for the better. They want to try to solve it themselves before they "overreact" and bring in the cops. But... PSA to everyone: if there's a court order involved, you have already passed the point where law enforcement should be involved. The man in your story is not the first to think law enforcement wasn't needed yet. Violence is very common when it comes to custody of children.
The thing is unless you're the police you don't enforce the law only demand it.
Husband goes to get his kids.
Wife says no regardless of the court order.
Husband relays her defiance to the court.
Wife loses any chance of getting custody later.
Not only he would be alive he would also have his kids with no risk of losing them
Do you know how many additional police officers it would take to supervise every order issued in family law courts? It would take billions of dollars to fund this proposal!

Yes, if he was in the United States and threats made over the phone
he should have taken this to the local magistrate's office and the ex-bf
and ex-wife would receive a summons to report to a hearing in
In the meantime, he should call the police and not go anywhere
near them two are
No, they aren't going to have a cop accompany you every time you go to pick up your kid. Furthermore, the cop isn't going to do anything. The cop isn't going to go into a property to fetch the kid or anything like that. If you don't comply with the court order then the cop will throw up their hands and say take it up with the court. It can take *months* before you can come back with a writ of entry which would actually allow the cop inside to fetch the kid.
Chad had no business being on that property once told to leave, regardless if the kid was there or not. Instead he decide to nipple rub with Kyle and threaten to use the gun on Kyle, then he grabs the gun and swings Kyle around. When you grab at someone's gun, you better the one who ends up with control of it in the end or expect to get shot.
You know a police officer should definitely not be present because the police officer is hired by a municipality to basically be a hired thug now maybe someone from the sheriff's office to be present that would make more sense
My ex violated every court order and nothing was ever done. The county sheriff's dept is corrupt.
Women really can get away with anything.
She admitted in a phone call that herself and her mother lied to try to ruin my life. She also admitted that she lied through the whole divorce and that herself, her children and her mother took things and how happy I should be that they didn't take my more expensive things.
@AnthonyJ01, and that is why I will never get married. I'm sorry that happened
You misunderstand.
If the court had good reason to suspect defiance, then there would be a sheriff/officer present
I think there should have been an officer there regardless. I mean there were 2 officers present when I was served an ex parte ppo in college which was falsely ordered. There was no reason for them to be there. How is this any different?
Don’t know. A lot of times, cops make extra money delivering court orders, etc. but this particular example sounds like a crazy woman with a gun. Maybe we should discuss gun control.
Yes but cops will not protect fathers. Just mothers.
Unfortunately that's true... I'd hope they'd help the father due to what the court order says... But women do get all the sympothy from pretty much everyone when they play the emotional card
Cort order is just that.. a court order. you are mandated by the court to follow though.
