Why do people respect the queen and royalty?

I don't get it:, they haven't done anything special for us, they're just some random family we chose to look at as royalty and kiss their ass and worship them, for no other reason other than to worship someone, I guess to make life more fun or something, .

If I met her I would not treat her with respect, if she expect me to open a car door for her I'd jus say "do it yourself you old bitch"

Yeah I know they're Born into it, that's what I mean by random family, they never special, they did nothing great, they're jus some random family who happened to be born with royal blood, but they're no different than other families other than the fact they was born lucky, it makes no sense to worship a family jus because they was born from royal blood

Erm. You're confused. Royals ARE the heads of countries. Be they biggest landowners, main estate runners, investors etc etc is a side hustle.

Even in the US a lot of land and industry is owned by various royals.
