So they aren't registered sex offenders, you just assume they have grooming intentions, you have no proof of that, it's just discrimation.

I want you to keep this in mind the next time women want to act like "men need to look out for and protect women" "all men are responsible for preventing sexual harrasment happening to women".
Cause these guys wanted to help home strange women, take them in off the streets, put a roof over their heads and your first thought is to call them sexual deviants.

The poster might have been misleading with the 30 percent figure I'll give you that, but did you read the article which states that "some of the men have a reported history of violence, message the women on Facebook groups specially set up to connect sponsors and hosts." When I read the article is made reference to the "UN's refugee agnecy the UNHCR raised concerns about the system" and calling for "adequate safeguards and venting measures to be in place against exploitation."

Anyway, this is what the article states which is what I was responding to in my comment. I understand that some men view this opinions as misandrist but is it misandrist to want to protect women from predators by taking appropriopriate measures to account for saftey?

Whenever there is a human crisis like war or natural disaster there are going to be lowlifes looking to take advantage, in addition to good people that want help. The background checks the article talks about should be mandatory and there should be regular check-ins on refugees by a social services organization.

It's not that they're single that makes them one. It's basically like a presumption that any single men are predators 30% of the time unless they're taken. But I'd also like to consider because of the presumptions, there may also be at least 30% accused of being predators because of that mindset.

I´m not sure about that conclusion because first of all 30% is less than one out of three men that´s not the majority.
Though the motivation could be sexual and that´s surely probable I´m not sure it´s the only reason.
