Absolutely. It’s not like it hasn’t happened in countries where abortion is illegal.

When it’s possible that someone is going to come in and second guess your decisions, and maybe hold you criminally responsible should your decision not meet their acceptable parameters, would you take the risk as a doctor?
You’ll have excuse some of us females for feeling like our best interest isn’t part of the consideration when talk about abortion, but these law makers clearly don’t consider the woman to be anything more than an incubator.

An ectopic pregnancy isn’t even viable. The fertilized egg can not develope into a baby because it’s not even in the uterus. It is a direct threat to the woman’s life. Pretty sure people aren’t going to let a woman die because she has a fetus growing inside her that can’t develop properly, AND it’s going to kill the woman.

Are you kidding me? When you have law makers in places like Ohio introducing bills that tell doctors to reimplant ectopic pregnancies into the uterus. And if someone comes in afterwards and decides the doctor didn’t make the right choice, they could be held criminally responsible?
They were trying to make law a procedure that doesn’t exist.
That doesn’t inspire much confidence in those of us who could fall victim to this kind of thinking. For me, being “pretty sure” they won’t let us die, it’s just not enough. Ya know?
