What holds men back? Treasonous politicians, businesses with no morals, cowardly "leaders" who refuse to rise up and hold corrupt politicians accountable, government agencies who've gone rogue, and champion enslaving us like livestock, and... women whose indulgence in the above vices has made them a danger for men to get involved with, leading to men becoming scared to commit to anything. This leads to demoralization of men, stunted emotional growth of both, and traditional family structures rapidly deteriorating.

Abusers can belong to any side on the political spectrum. Best not to generalize everyone. I’m a centrist, left leaning and I have met some knowledgeable, kind and friendly conservative men.
I would say my family is fairly progressive in terms of society, but politically, my mother is a conservative and my dad is right leaning. My father has never once hit me or my mother. He has risen his tone, but that is pretty much it. He was raised to behave like a gentleman.
I have seen rather deranged people from both the ends of the political spectrum. Being at the extremes is never a good idea.

There’s nothing sexier to a middle-aged Republican man than a young, uneducated woman who’s barefoot and pregnant.
I’m a conservative man but it has never crossed my mind to mistreat a woman in fact I have always said they are of equal value and have a unique and special role in society and deserve recognition and special protections.
I am always the first to say you should speak to a woman like that, or that’s no way to treat a lady or things of that nature. I believe in holding a door that women have final day on physical intimacy.
