This question asked what is the most important issue facing the USA today?
How is “Staying out of other countries' business” connected to this question? …How is the USA inappropriately getting involved in “other countries' business”?
@gagname it's wel documented that America was after the resources of the places I mentioned. You are the one acting triggered. The question is what I THINK the most importanit ssue facing America is. It costs a lot of money for this military campaigns. Money that could be spent dealing with domestic issues.
Americas after the land and resources of russia too. Thats why theyre so adamant about allying with finland, ukraine, all countries next to russia and sending nukes to them.
I agree, we should put less of our troops into action like that and send more mercenaries. Putting our troops is always a trigger for a war, sending mercenaries to achieve whatever objectives we feel are important has the benefit of deniability, as well as mercenaries not having to follow the geneva convention.
Most of our wars are proxy wars anyway, why not use proxy troops for our proxy wars where possible?
How is Capitalism the most important issue?…which of the below are your thoughts about Capitalism? 1. Capitalism is GOOD and under attack 2. Capitalism is BAD and should be replaced 3. Something else
Capitalism is bad because it divides people and divided we fall. It's in the interests of capitalist to divide people to make them easier to exploit so they will use the media giants they own to say inflammatory language that will naturally divide people
@gagname right now none. let me ask you a question now since you seem to be focused on an illogical argument... Name one country where capitalism has not failed?
@gagname just a side note let me remind you again that capitalism is not a human focused system so its not a question its better than because by definition any human focused system even the worst one is automatically better than capitalism because the point of capitalism is profit. Just would like to emphasis that so there is no confusion
So no country is operating a “human focused system” that is better than US capitalism, and it’s all hypothetical…just what I thought.
If the USA & capitalism is so bad (and racist) and “divides and exploits” people, then why are thousands of people streaming into the USA each day along the USA’s southern border?…Answer: because the USA & capitalism is NOT bad (NOR racist) and does NOT divide NOR exploit people — that’s why thousands AREN’T willingly going out of their way day-after-day trying to get into other countries like they are trying to do at the US southern border.
To answer your question: Capitalism has NOT failed in the USA.
@gagname "“human focused system” that is better than US capitalism, and it’s all hypothetical…" 1. Capitalism was once hypothetical i fail to see how this is an argument? Especially since Capitalism is so afraid of competition from any other system aka Socialism/Communism that they go to great lengths to intervene and destroy it even with military invasion even though they are so convinced that it would fail on its own without any intervention.
"just what I thought." 2. What you think is not relevant because of your obvious bias and propaganda you have been fed living in a Capitalist society so sadly your thoughts and opinion on the subject cannot be trusted.
"why are thousands of people streaming into the USA each day along the USA’s southern border?" 3. Thats just capitalist propaganda to attract vulnerable immigrants from countries the US has destabilized and that wants to take advantage and exploit those immigrants with starvation wages namely the Hispanic population while they do all the shit jobs. again that's called ___Human Exploitation___
4. For your information Millions with a capital M are fleeing the US to live in countries with better living conditions and healthcare. Thats not even counting the so called Dental Tourism or other Healthcare related Tourism like when they cross the border to get treatment outside of the US.
I highly advise and recommend that you separate your ego from capitalism because it will be destroyed along with capitalism when it dismantled as an economic system and replaced by something far superior for the betterment of Mankind.
But we both know you are and you won't so you can keep living in your bubble and delusions. So what will it be are you going to take the Blue pill or take the Red pill and you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes! 😉
@gagname oh so you changed it from "hypothetical" to "fictional" someone is scared lol but then again sadly it was pretty obvious you would not take or even consider any other system other than capitalism seriously because of your bias. So much for an intellectual honest debate
Hypothetical & fictional both mean not actual, but fictional is a better word for your dream of a “human focused system” because fictional means “invented as opposed to real.”
The Merriam-Webster-dictionary’s first definition for colonialism says colonialism is:
“domination of a people or area by a foreign state or nation : the practice of extending and maintaining a nation's political and economic control over another people or area”
Are you saying America should not get involved in foreign matters, OR are you saying that the USA is “political[ly] and economic[ally] control[ling]” other peoples & places nowadays?
NATO is a “collective defense” organization, where “The [NATO] Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them…will assist the Party or Parties so attacked…”
Yes it does. Finland and Switzerland are about to enter NATO. Their leaders are going to meet with... Biden. Literally everything the NATO does is on the approval of the US.
Cuba is under the embargo. NATO counties want to make a deal about fuel with Venezuela. The US gave permission. Excuse me? Why would the rest of NATO need permission from the US to trade with Venezuela? Oh right because Maduro is a US puppet and so is NATO
News flash for you: World leaders meet (especially friendly ones) to discuss things and get counsel and buy-in on their future policy decisions, to ensure there is strategic alignment between the friendly countries.
Concerning the US embargo against Cuba: That DOESN’T control Cuba.
Instead, it “prevents American businesses, and businesses organized under U. S. law or majority-owned by American citizens, from conducting trade with Cuban interests.”
It's very different to have international relations with other nations and to literally have to ask permission to one of them to make business with a country with which none of you have nothing against or no control over. Supposedly.
Embargo doesn't control Cuba, but it is meddling in another county business. And no, it doesn't prevent only the US from making free trade with Cuba. Prevents other countries as well.
I will admit I don't have much information in this. I have seen a few videos in the topic, but honestly I don't remember much. But I do recall that over it's history and still today they do very much meddle in foreign countries affairs.
it’sonly your OPINION that countries “ha[d] to ask permission” from the USA.
And the US embargo is exactly that, if other countries do that also then that is their decision (although my guess is that you would/will say that the US MADE other contrived do that).
It was on the news that other NATO counties had to ask the US for permission to make business regarding fuel with Venezuela.
This is where it gets hard. You can say that other countries act upon the embargo because they want. And that's what they will say. I don't buy it. If it was any other country doing an embargo on another they would still trade with it. In fact I don't think any other country in NATO has the authority to place another one under an embargo.
“It was on the news…” — oh, so it must be true and not slanted then, right? Lol
Concerning NATO: NATO has nothing to do with a country’s trading polices, it is a military DEFENSE organization.
As I quoted above: “The [NATO] Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all…”
I know what NATO is supposed to be on paper. Doesn't mean the US doesn't run the show. You don't believe in the veracity of news, but this definition of the NATO you do.
Again, I don't like to talk about what I don't know a lot of. I am 100% sure that I already heard very compelling arguments about this, but it was a while ago and I don't recall.
Without question you have influence in Venezuela and Cuba. Regarding NATO is more little things that make me think the US have them all in the pocket.
Instead, they are the words of “Article 5 of the Washington [NATO] Treaty.”
The reason I believe those words (and the claimed purpose & actions of NATO over time) is that they are independently attested to by others — such as the following history. com article…
…where it says: “NATO has only invoked Article 5 once in its history [since it’s establishment in 1949]—in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.”

Probably cost of living, along side the economy.
Emotional people.
Damn emos :)
Gas prices
So did you vote G (or maybe E) in the poll to this question?
Yup I did
I chose Climate Change, but also rampant racism is an issue.
“rampant racism” - for sure: teaching children that if you’re white then you’re an oppressor, and if you’re not white then you’re a victim.
It’s a fact
What do you mean by this?
And which A through G answer-option did you select in the poll to this question?
Energy prices
Staying out of other countries' business.
What if other countries (like Ukraine) are in dire need ask for the USA’s help?
They asked and they aren't there to pillage.
This question asked what is the most important issue facing the USA today?
How is “Staying out of other countries' business” connected to this question?
…How is the USA inappropriately getting involved in “other countries' business”?
It's my opinion on the matter.
I’m just asking what makes you have this opinion?…
How & where is the USA inappropriately getting involved in “other countries' business”?
Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Israel, Central America Libya.
That answers the “where,” but what about the “how”?…
“How [or why] is the USA inappropriately getting involved in those countries' “business”?
* “ “How [or IN WHAT WAYS] is the USA inappropriately getting involved in those countries' “business”?
NOTE: The USA gets involved in situations that affect its national security, or where assistance is needed.
Shut the fuck up gagname those aren't honest questions

Capitalism

Number 2 please
Why is capitalism bad, and what type of system should it be replaced with?
And what country currently operates this “replacement system” that is better than capitalism?
Capitalism is bad because it divides people and divided we fall. It's in the interests of capitalist to divide people to make them easier to exploit so they will use the media giants they own to say inflammatory language that will naturally divide people
It should be replaced with any system that is human focused rather than profit focused

If you are not a coward watch this video or do your own research on the United Fruit Company

It’s you who’s dreaming about fictional “human focused” systems which don’t exist…
Wake up from your dream—you may be very “woke” but you still fast asleep in fantasyland.

Colonialism.
The Merriam-Webster-dictionary’s first definition for colonialism says colonialism is:

Are you saying America should not get involved in foreign matters, OR are you saying that the USA is “political[ly] and economic[ally] control[ling]” other peoples & places nowadays?
Both.
Where is the USA “politically and economically controlling” foreign peoples & places nowadays?
Cuba, Venezuela, NATO.
NATO is a “collective defense” organization, where “The [NATO] Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them…will assist the Party or Parties so attacked…”
www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_110496.htm
The USA DOESN’T control NATO…
The member nations voluntarily request to join NATO, and after joining it pledge to give a certain amount of funding to NATO.
How do you think that the USA “controls” Cuba & Venezuela?
Yes it does.
Finland and Switzerland are about to enter NATO. Their leaders are going to meet with... Biden.
Literally everything the NATO does is on the approval of the US.
Cuba is under the embargo.

* definition of NATO.”
Nothing in there pervents the US from monopolizing it.
But do you agree with the embargo in Cuba for example? Isn't that the US meddling in foreign affairs?
What do you mean by the US “monopolizing [NATO]?
Why would a country choosing not to trade w another be meddling…aren’t people free to spend their money where they want to?
If you choose to buy food at Burger King but NOT McDonalds, are you “meddling” with McDonalds?
Because they are not just chosing to not trade with Cuba. They are not doing it due to the embargo.
