The thing is women when they feel alone, they will not do this. They will go to the supermarket, buy a tub of icecream, or cake or bonbon, whatever their go-to comfort food is and they will stuff their face.

I live in a small village, 200 people, 1 hour by bus from the closest small town, I moved here recently for a job and there are no single guys in this area. I go to work, then I go home and study or waste my time here. I know what's it like to be alone.

Maybe there are some women that do know what it is like to be alone, but compared to men, they are a significant minority.

It is true that society places a large burden on men. In the old days, it was still tradition for the man to have traditional responsibility and roles but at least women appreciated them for it.

Also, we hear about these "acceptance" movements that are geared mostly to women. What about the socially awkward males? What about short ones? We are socially conditioned to believe that men can't feel bad and if they are they are whiners or misogynist.

I think this question should have been re worded as to “do women ever really feel they can’t get sex/company”. Feeling alone or lonely is possible for anyone and everyone to feel and I’d suggest most people experience this at some point in their lives. I suggest getting getting with yourself and doing things for you. If that fails, a dog is always a great choice of companion ☺️

Women if they aren't attractive they have lost already. A boy can be ugly but he can still learn how to appear masculine and having high social status. This attracts some girls. However an ugly girl has very low chance to find a partner who really likes her.
