The number of times I’ve been lectured by British people on how to live is just astounding. If I had known how ungrateful towards America they would become, I would’ve advised the US to let Germany keep bombing the sh*t out of them in WW2. But we owed it to the French to help them out.

So my advice for those cock scking British prcks is to worry about your own dmn country. Fix your own dmn problems. And stop treating us like we’re still a colony because we’re the ones that kicked your asses and saved your asses from annihilation.

I would say the very fact English is language used in America means a lot of influence and the very skelet structore of America is credited to UK. Its how world sees it. Without UK there was no america there was Native people living there. So its very messy situation. You can use history to win argument cus its stacked against you, you can use NOW to win argument, but then again its also messy situation now with all the left and right battling eachother like crazy.
I came to live in UK and yes I also notice they have some kind of pide that bothers me, but not all of them many are just regular folks doing yheir best to live happy lives.

No one cares about losing America, after all we lost all of the empire eventually. America is just a tiny insignificant part of our history and not the big deal you think it is.
The simple fact is GAG is an international site with a lot of Americans asking questions and therefore issues like gun control, abortion etc come up a lot and we like to throw in an outsiders perspective. If this triggers a few over sensitive people all the better.
Personally I think it's healthy for you to see how the wider international community views you.
