Has feminism lost its original purpose?

Question

I am a man, and I respect women and men by equal means and also want women to have equal right to do normal stuff as men does but I have seen that some women has become a little bit too  feminist . I understand that women have their own  opinions  and hate them because one or more individuals have made a bad thing against you or regarding men's status on societies but come on,  problems doesn't come from bad men who believe they can boss or use anyone for their use, it also comes from bad women who just to make everyone's lives bad (even to women)  but I understand this part. But the main problem is that  "feminism" as whole has become downgraded , it has lost a part of its original purpose (which was giving women right to do things in society), and some women use feminism as a choice of hating men. Leaving that aside, does people think feminism needs to be divided into different sections like one feminism section is just about "screw men, we don't need them to produce money and we can produce anything without them" (bad section), or like another feminism section where "if we are women and work as hard as men, then we have the right to also do stuff that are not available for them" (good section) or like other feminism section in which "women are women and they can be what they want or use what they want" (neutral section).

I think most people are behind first wave feminism, but after that it’s starts getting a little out of hand. Look at the untold anguish and suffering experienced by the children of every generation since the second wave started, just so women can come off the pedestal they were historically placed on by honorable men to put on a collar and become tax cattle. Now, women give the best years of their life to soulless corporate wage slave drivers to pay their dues to the state which needs that money to fund wars that send their children off to die in oligarchs pissing contests. Welcome to the libration of being a previously untapped tax revenue who is at least as miserable as the average working man. What a good deal that was for women.

Not to mention the death of many opportunities for women’s natural hypergamy to manifest in finding a more resourced man to attach to since it is socially and legislatively more difficult for men to compete for top paying jobs now. Suzanne Venker has several great YouTube/podcasts on the likelihood of long term success of relationships or marriages in a situation where socially the man is expected to make more money and legislatively women have all the advantages to do so.

Has anyone noticed how most children are on at least one drug to calm them down from anxiety and abandonment issues they develop because they are placed in daycare so mommy can work? How many women are using their paychecks to pay for the drugs their kids need because mommy dumped them on strangers for money? You don’t need two cars or a three story house if the price is your children’s future.

Somewhat. Feminism began as a humble tool used by the Socialists to get women involved in politics. Now it has grown far beyond Socialism. Feminism no longer is only about patriarchy, but also gay rights, racism, foregn policy... etc. It's bloated and confusing with no self identity anymore and has begun to collapse in on itself as semf proclaimed femminists argue about what they are driven by. Of course there are still traditional Socialist femminists, and this is what they are arround the world. Especially in communist /Socialist countries. But here in the US. It is a fucking mess.

I considered myself a feminist for years, but during university I spent time with a lot of other feminists and learned what today's feminism really is about, and I want nothing to do with it anymore. I am thankful for the advancements in gender equality that feminism helped make in the past, but today's feminism is completely different. It's doing way more harm than good today.

Feminism has never ever been about anything other than power. It's propaganda that is targeted to set up a divinde males and females. Feelings are temperary and unfortunately there is a lot of damage that has been done because women were easy targets and easily convinced of something that wasn't true to begin with. I am glad som women are owning up to how bad it is but being an accomplish is its own bag of scaries. Men have been abused by systems for years and they didn't complain. How can you justify a women targeting a man and taking his sperm to get pregnant. Now she is entitled to his livelihood which is the only thing he is taught that makes him valuable? The snake in the garden said eve if eat the apple she would be Like him and so she did. Luckily not all women are like this but definitely too easily led just because another woman says something.

It has. I've often said that feminism is now a solution that's looking for a problem. There is no unifying consensus about what feminism is. I saw an article here once a few years ago that have tips on how to date a feminist, and there was absolutely nothing specific to feminism. Feminists just try to take good and common behaviors and attribute them to feminism. It just doesn't work.
