Not a significant one/probably not enough to offset current movement patterns.
1. They don't actually have to do that to get an abortion. Abortion-prohibitive states have and will continue to refer people to other states to get it done. This was already happening in for example Missouri and Texas for the last year or so.
2. Due to economic factors, the two most prominent blue states (both of which are actively marketing themselves as abortion safe havens) are hemorrhaging citizens moving elsewhere as it is. Making a permanent move because of cost of living and job opportunities makes far more sense than moving on account of easy abortion access, especially given the above. If that's really one's biggest priority in choosing a place to live, they've really screwed up, big time.
3. Gay marriage isn't even up for debate. That and seemingly all of the homosexuals I know who are moving anywhere are moving to Florida.

Most women don't like the idea of killing their babies. While some women might look the other way when some other women kills her kid, they generally wouldn't do it themselves. So even if abortion is illegal, it wouldn't personally affect most women. That said, all the ruling on Roe did is reverse an illegal federal power grab. It was an admission that the federal government broke the law and violated their duty to uphold the constitution. It recognized that the states have always had the right to determine their own abortion policies. For the extremists that like to kill babies, they will likely just take vacations to states that praise them for human sacrifice such as California.

Pretty dumb take. You clearly have no idea how the Supreme Court works. It doesn't just arbitrary decide things by fiat. What's the court case challenging a law that deals with gay marriage that the court will hear?
Also, even if a state bans abortion why would women move en masse? For a procedure that virtually none of them will ever use? And EVEN if they do, they can always travel to do it? How retarded is that? I can almost hear some complete dumbass saying "but what if they're too poor to travel?" WELL THEN THEY'RE TOO POOR TO MOVE FUCKING HOUSE!!!
Look--I get it--people are upset that Roe's been overturned. But that doesn't mean that fucking EVERYTHING is about Roe. For 99.99% of us this is a giant fucking nothingburger for our day to day lives. And yes--I'm pro choice.No. The people it effects the most are too poor to move to a new state. I think it may reduce college attendance in red states, but little else. Of course, that is a problem on its own. I live in Iowa where our biggest employer is the university. Discouraging all that revenue from entering the state is stupid. But republicans run the state and they are stupid so I guess it makes sense.
Anything is possible but that would just make the battle lines for the next civil war more clear. That is ridiculous because the real war is between free people and tyrants, not people in a manufactured color war, whether that’s a manufactured ideology or race war. Read up on how the CIA destabilizes foreign sovereign nations like Obama did when he arranged for regime change in 2014 in Ukraine, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I hate to bust your deluded bubble, but same sex marriage is NOT going to be struck down, and especially not “by day now”. But don’t let me keep you from your hyperbole.
Nor will lots of women move to states where abortion is legal. If they want one, they’ll just travel.Possibly. Is this a bad thing? These decisions are likely a shift to move power back from the federal government to the states. Is this a bad thing, considering how divided the country is? Perhaps we should allow the states to make their own rules so people can live in communities which share their values.
Obliviously, yes liberals in those states are most likely the wealthier people from big cities or suburbs in the state. The ones who have money will likely leave in time. I have the feeling that the prostitution laws on the West Coast and NY was typically to please conservative states that they fund and now that will be legalized.
I hope so! Makes it FAR easier when the US finalizes the divorce between those pro-death leftists and pro-life conservatives.
I certainly hope so. It's part of the Divorce that's coming.
