Within the next century, we will see artificial wombs to solve the issue of morality in terms of having an abortion. We will remove the baby from the womb and have it develop artificially. This will be how the vast majority of pregnancies take place because they will be safer for girls and more practical.

Do not bring up the foster care system because by this time, that will be improved as well.

How exactly would this "end" the abortion vs pro-life debate? It could be used as a talking point by the right to federally ban all abortions regardless of circumstances, but due to the Supreme Court ruling, a federal ban on abortions in any context is going to be pretty much impossible without a constitutional amendment. I also have serious doubts that the right wing at large even supports the idea of artificial wombs, and more than likely would raise serious concerns about how this would lead to mothers becoming biologically incapable of actually supporting the baby after birth.

It will be here in the next several decades. I am not sure how ti will effect the whole abortion debate but I am certain that artificial wombs will be a thing in the next generation or two.

This is my absolute fantasy. I wish I could just bury my eggs in a pit or a nest, or put them in a bag, and let them grow without me, but this is pretty great as well.

I don't really care about this technology's effect on the abortion debate, I just don't want my body to get destroyed when I want to have children.

I think they're closer than people think and artificial wombs could help with the unethical side of surrogacy since it would pretty much just replace it. I support the idea, I just dont know how many women will actually rather use one than to abort the baby.

It dosen't solve all the issues. What if feotus has a genetic defect that would have a lifelong effect on quality of life? There's still a debate around ending life.
