I am from Spain, I studied the intermediate level of vocational training in auxiliary nursing care and I would love to live in the United States, but my family tells me that there they are very racist towards people of Spanish speaking and of other races, and that they treat them badly, and that they give them jobs that nobody wants and that are poorly paid and that the American police mistreat them and that they can even kill them and that because they have a Spanish or Latin American last name they denounce you for no reason, insult them, etc. But I have seen and/or heard from people from Latin America and/or from other countries that it may have gone well for them, but I still feel insecure. I plan to take measures so as not to be discriminated against, such as changing my name and surnames to more Americanized ones, avoiding speaking in Spanish and only speaking in English, etc. The truth is that I don't really like living in Spain, there is currently a crisis of rising the price of electricity, gasoline, food, etc.. Squatters also settle in other people's houses and the police do nothing, I don't like the monarchy either. I also have other reasons for wanting to move to American lands, such as the fact that I have heard of some American traditions that I find interesting, super big cities that are very incredible, such as New York, Las Vegas, etc. And for reasons of my past, I would like to start from scratch and if possible improve my life and economy. I want to know the opinions of Americans about what they think of a girl from Spain who moved to the United States? Do you find it offensive and/or do you hate that foreign people want to go live in your country? I hope I have not offended anyone, I apologize in case I have hurt someone. I don't mean to hurt anyone.
People here aren't racist against others for speaking Spanish. They are most often racist against Whites and Asians. So you would likely experience racism from democrats since you are a White European and they hate White people.
The prices here for gas, food, and electricity have risen a lot since Biden has been in office.
Crime is high in the large liberal cities like New York. I would recommend against going to places like that.
Try somewhere like Florida or Idaho depending on the kind of weather you like. You'll be more likely to find good people there than in places like New York or California.

Yo don’t worry about it. People are friendly here
I don't know if my opinion counts, since I'm a quarter part Spaniard. I'd say go ahead. It doesn't bother me
You will fit in well with Spanish speaking populations because we do have that. We don’t have an official language here. So Texas, cali, Arizona
