Was this shark attack my fault?

So I went to a city beach (I live in Europe) and I usually like to swim further away so I went ahead. But it happened that I got my period (earlier then expected) while swimming, only noticed it later on when I got back to the beach. Half an hour later while I was preparing to go home, shark came and attacked 2 people and they both died. I feel like it could've easily been me, and if only I stayed home the shark wouldn't come. I think it sensed my blood...
