When was the last time you found money and how much?

I was remodeling my bathroom and found 1000 dollars under my bathtub in a false part of the wall. Paid some bills lol

Last time I remember finding anything memorable was when I was a kid working at BK. The Manger asked for a volunteer to change the marquee sign outised and no one wanted to volunteer because it was winter and cold. So I said I'd do it and when I did I found a Benjamin at the base of the snowbank underneath it. Of course I didn't say anything because I figure the manager would probably say it belonged to the store because it was on store property. Then probably pocket it.

The funny thing was I had a friend who worked breakfasts there. And he said he found another 100 in the parking lot the next morning. Kind of makes me wonder how much there was? Did the rest blow away? There's a casino up the street. So I figure someone won a chunk of money then got drunk and stupid. 🤣

Wow, that is a great find. Where I used to work there was a bus stop and when I would walk by I always looked down at the ground because people would drop money on the ground fishing for bus fare. I used to just find change but once I found a 20 dollar bill. I once found a 50 dollar Amazon gift card and once I found a diamond engagement ring in the gym parking lot. I turned it in.

Last time i found money was 5000 bucks but that amount i already had kept in my box for some reason cuz it was someone else' money... i found it in some other room in my house I don't know how it got there

But if i found some money randomly which I don't know belongs to whom, id rather not take it or spend it for myself. Id try to find the owner if possible or give it to someone needy

I did find a wallet with a few debit and credit cards with 800 dollars in it. I was so tempted to pocket the money. I didn't. I turned into the gas station where I found it.

That's pretty cool. I found a twenty dollar bill on the ground outside a beer store when I was a teen, picked it up, and then some guy came out of the store chasing me, had to hop a fence or two lol.
