Since Life in prison is kinda torture and free will is an illusion and doesn’t exist just put him down. He can’t return to society and life imprisonment is cruel and he will end up killing himself anyways after he gets gang raped.

Well, the death sentence is the same thing as life in prison. They keep you for at least 20 years before they kill you. The lawyers have to go back and forth and make sure before they give you the death sentence.
