What do you think of Life Insurance companies offering money for women to travel for abortions?

Like the title says, Life Insurance companies are doing this, I’m asking if you’re either civilly or morally opposed.

I like it. This isn’t some unbelievable outcome. We knew this was going to happen in ban states. This is capitalism, and there’s money in insurance as well as money in healthcare. I’ll actually be surprised if more than a few states can maintain any kind of ban on abortion for more than a few years. Lobbyists for insurance companies and healthcare providers who stand to lose money in those states will start supporting politicians in favor abortion even if there are some reasonable limitations. Out with the old and in with the new. It is absolutely inevitable.

Do you mean health insurance? Anyway, what it tells me, is they know it's cheaper for them than having a child on the mother's policy.

Where are you getting this information? I can find no reporting of LIFE insurance companies doing any such thing.

There is also a fiduciary duty to policyholders of mutual insurers.

No... I am not opposed, every woman that chooses abortion has to Live with that decision for the rest of their lives... I could never deal with that... the option is a curse and a blessing... God Bless them all
