There's a fucking reason the ones that make it move away to a nice nighborhood with some white, Asian, and mexican nighbors out of the middle of some shit hole city. My black friends are nothing like the animals that burn down their own nighborhoods or live in places where they "fit a discription". Half the time recently it's not even them burning down their own nighborhoods... it's a bunch of white fag tranny wannabes calling themselves ANTIFA.

If you're going to dedicate your life to drugs and crime... good fucking luck, because that's where you'll be living. It's the hood minus the cool nighbors you can hangout with hand have some cold beers with. That's no nighborhood... that's the hood.

I have to say that I mostly agree with you. However, I think there are few black people who arrive into nice neighborhoods with nice careers and kids in nice schools. For sure, it happens and they are represented but not proportionally represented. I have only worked with two black guys (who were friends). One was my neighbor in high school, went to same college. He was Valedictorian. Now he is a College professor. The other graduated from an engineering school and is a VP of Sales. I hate to say this because it sounds terrible but I think when these two guys wake up in the morning and go into the bathroom and look in the mirror, they don't see a black man; they see a person with a future.

Not sure what you disagree with... the not proportionally represented part maybe, but that's kinda like the feminist's wage gap argument... yeah the equality or equity isn't there, but the majority are making different choices and the only way to change it would to be to strip them of those choices and force them to do something else. No options for how they're worse off? Not that I feel they are, overall, but your wording is kind of telling. Remember that the vast majority of black Amecicans will never find themselves fleeing the police while driving drunk OR resisting arrest, and that whatever may be the appropriate steps to take for those cases, there's a lot more to the life experience of black people than that.

I think a lot of people become violent because they grow up without role models or guardianship boundaries or intimate acts of kindness and love. I believe we could reduce crime by teaching loving kindness meditation to teenagers in high school.

We are a lot better though some states & cities still practice in systemic racism. but the good thing is YOU CAN MOVE. I don't wanna hear the excuses their is no reason for you to sit in some racist city or state that's keeping you broke, when you can get to another state where other people of color are thriving in diversity where nobody cares about you.

If you really have the motivation & drive you will make it. I know some will say "I should not have to move" ok then enjoy being broke & complaining how life isn't fair when the rest of the US operates different & is the same size or even bigger then Europe as a whole continent & those guys can't just jump to another country when they feel like it to live, like how we can cross state borders with no issue. Before that thousands of Brits worked on the continent and thousands of EU citizens worked in GB. The link I provided shows a map with all participating countries, currently 26 with more to come. Yes. But it's NOT because racism has gone away. Racists are still racist. Prejudices still exist. And fear and ignorance is still part of the human condition. But I like to think white people are increasingly calling out racism when they see it more now. That we are turning less if a blind eye and saying to ourselves "don't get involved". Because this is EVERYONES fight! When one of us is discriminated against be it by race or color, it diminishes us all.

I don't think overt racism in today's world is as big of a problem is INSTITUTIONAL RACISM. Too much of the system works disproportionately for white people. We're better but we still have a ways to go.

Here’s the truth about Rodney King. His attorney fucked up. They brought the cops up on assault with a deadly weapon charge which meant he had to prove the cops were trying to kill him and he couldn’t do it. If it had been simple assault and battery the verdict would have been very different

I can both agree and disagree with this. I do agree that black people make too much about being black. Just be people, be my neighbor, be my colleague. Why does it always have to do with being black? However, the angry remark I have to disagree with. Sure they are angry but for good reason. Black people have been disenfranchised and marginalize for the last 200 plus years. The result is a collective loss of economic gain. Black people are ambitious, motivated and intelligent. However, our America (for whites) is not the same America for blacks. For years, no matter how much motivation, talent, effort the black person invested, he was blocked at every turn by white people in control of opportunity. So that is perfectly reasonable to be angry about. When I was 21, I worked in a tech company and we were hiring. We interviewed a black guy who graduated from Georgia Tech (a top engineering school). He was successful, articulate, affable. Several of the interviewers including myself liked him and we proposed hiring him to the two managers, Rick and Tom (not their real names). Rick graduated from Virginia Tech and Tom from University of Virginia. Both grew up in southwestern Virginia. When we recommended hiring this black guy, Rick and Tom looked at each other and said, we aren't having a black guy here. That ended the man's opportunity. He succeeded getting into Georgia tech. He graduated in top 10 percent. He had excellent internships and reference. He presented well. Yet, he was black and it was over for him. That is why black people are angry.

I need clarification. Is it your position that the officers actions where justified with regard to George Floyd because it was later discovered that he had a criminal record and had fentanyl, meth and mj in his system? If we accept this as reasonable, how, I ask you, does an officer know when he approaches some suspect , decide what level of force to apply with knowledge that the person receiving the application of force is deserving of the treatment.
