I think so, but I think it's more like a demographic-specific issue.

Latinos and Latinas respect each other.

Asian men and Asian women respect each other for the most part.

Black men kinda look down on black women, nevertheless black women are very committed to black people's causes.

White women think white men are privileged, racist and bad. And white men think white women have no dignity, and are entitled, unstable and untrustworthy.

Are we in the middle of a gender war?

Of course. Humans are ridiculously selfish so of course, for example, if one gender seeks equal opportunity and natural respect, the other gender, out of spite will do absolutely anything to keep the oppressed gender from getting even an inch of societal freedom. It’s all an attempt to draw women back from having freedom and a time where men had complete control and women were subservient slaves

All sexist people would die to see this. That’s about half the country

Yes, but I feel like the gender war is mostly an social media thing. Sometimes it seeps out in real life but for the most part men and women seem to get along just fine in day to day life. I see them talking to one another at in work and outside of work, laughing, and just having normal conversations. Men and women are still dating and making families (seeing a lot of pregnant nurses lately and births).

There is no "gender war".

The "problem" is just mass communication putting power in the hands of simple people these days. Hence too many people can be whipped into a frenzy over little substance.

Seriously, take any issue and whittle it down to the facts and it's a simple solution. But the emotions and opinions of the gatekeepers makes it a complex problem to deal with safely.

Yes, women have really failed American society.

The concept of equality is actually stupid when you think about it. Equality exists nowhere in biology, so the belief in human equality is wishful thinking at its worse. There is evidence that the only way to have a civilization is to force women back into traditional roles.
