Okay, so I don't know what post it was that was taken down or what time it was hidden by a moderator. Is it in review or has admin said they removed it from the site? There is a difference between the two.

I don't hide/remove any political posts because I am not from the US and don't understand your politics in the least. Short of having to look at a question and then study the subject to figure out if it is trolling/offensive/whatever, I cannot effectively report those posts.

So, I leave that to the American mods (or at least that is who I would expect to monitor those) because I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to US politics.

What was the post removed for? Also, if you think it was unfairly removed by a moderator, you can contact the main admin account and appeal for an explanation as to why.

From what I can tell, political posts are not in violation of any rules on the site. Again, I don't know what you posted, but if it has not been reviewed yet, it may be reinstated yet. Hope this helps.
