Why do women feel they have to become good at what men are good at to have a place in society?

women always talk about being better than men at sports or stronger or faster and the reality is they just aren't, it is no fault of ours we are just different, why don't they just focus on their strengths, they have high pain thresholds, they are more capable of emotions, better at empathy and sympathy, they make good mothers for these skills and none of them seem to care, it is always i gotta be better than a man, no, you have to be who you are, and what you are is important and useful

That's not necessarily true, it depends on what it is. What they want is the freedom to choose to do the same things as men. And this goes both ways - they also want men to have the freedom to choose to do things that are (or have been) typically done by women.

Some people apparently don't like the idea of people having the freedom to do what they want to do and be what they want to be. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Because guys don't respect us otherwise. Guys respect strength and masculinity, so to get respect, we have to be physically competitive

We tried that, it didn't get us respect. We became doormats. It's only when we began pushing back that change happened for us.

Because we had to fight to get the basic right to vote. :/ now we have to fight to keep the right to control our own bodies.

if a boy gets raped and his rapist gets pregnant he has to pay child support, if a women claims a man raped her or hit her he will lose everything even if proven false, if a women hits a man almost nothing comes of it, a man is not allowed to defend himself against a women, even if his life is in danger he can still get in trouble, most homeless are men, most suicides are men, women are given priority in some companies simply for being women, and no one cares, stop acting as if you are in danger the world isn't your safe space, you are a human, proud strong and smart, act like it

You're literally listing double standards, not extra rights for women over men.

Most suicides are men because men have this internal culture where they see emotions as weakness and don't want to talk about it. Don't complain when you cause the issue.

That's why we are fucking fighting to be equal. Men have 0 laws restricting what they can do with their own reproductive organs, we do. Men aren't raped and killed because they slept around, we are in several places in the world. Men get considered more when they have kids, for jobs. Women, it's the opposite. Etc. Etc.

No, your “rights aren’t being taken away.” (Because God knows you just GOTTA kill babies lol) Contrary to what Liberals may think, SCOTUS did not ban abortions. They merely ruled that the constitutionality of abortion is not outlined in the Constitution, ergo it was the choice of the individual states.

Imagine that. SCOTUS was pro-choice.

Some states have outlawed it. Some states haven’t. It’s up to the citizens of that state and their legislators. Take it up with your elected officials and change the laws in your state.

You’ll of course think that I’m some religious fundamentalist—as if people would ONLY be opposed to abortion for religious reasons—but I’m not. In fact I’m pro abortion. I just believe it should be rare and a last resort. Abstinence, contraception, birth control, the Morning After pill etc.

Instead we get people acting as if they have some sacrosanct right to kill a life with capricious disregard and indifference. It’s fucking sick, man.
