Why do we live in a country where one party believes that democracy only exists when they are in power?

You know who said it. As if this country isn't divided enough. I am in the center. I believe both sides need to exist, its part of our checks and balances. But the left dont understand saying that will cause the opposite to happen. It will cause conservatives to come out in mass and vote red. It will cause us classical liberals to vote red.

Also why do we live in a country where it can get you arrested, and fired from your job to refuse to use someones made up idiotic pronouns or if you misgender someone but calling for the death of a past president is ok, and even encouraged?

It's funny that Democrats accuse Republicans for being against democracy when they do extreme gerrymandering in New York, New Jersey and Illinois.

Gerrymandering is bad and if you pose as "pro-democracy" party you can't say "they do it too, so it's justified".
