You think you become more peaceful once you get older? Young people have too much responsibility?

I am getting older and I see people treat me with respect and I feel it’s much better than when I was young. I struggled too much with responsibility when I was younger, think I like the peacefulness. What do you think? I thought that the older I am the harder my life will be but it’s really the opposite

I was taught at a young age what it means to be humble and respect others. Hence I get told I got an old soul pretty regularly XD. As I often tend to go out of my way to be nice. My only exception to this rule and my peacefulness is when someone does something that feels out of malice. Then I often feel like an instrument of karma at times.
