I need more information. I’ve heard from several sides that one the one hand it’s for men who want to focus and self improve which I think is great. However it is soured when I find a lot of the time many of these guys blame women for all their failings in life.
What’s the truth here and is it a self help group for men of just a tool to hate women?
When a woman leads with MGTOW is woman-hating, the shame game the real MGTOW'ers learns quickly bounces off of them, because the true MGTOW guys do not hate women. They just go in with eyes-wide open.
In the classic sense, the MGTOW guys are your older guys who have experience with women and marriage directly. They teach the young guys not to get caught up in woman-crap and marriage.
Now there are quality women out there. They are often referred to unicorns, because many women in the West are ruined. Most have been soiled by feminism, whether they know it not.
Obviously they do not live pro-feminist messages that all men are toxic, and that if they get a false allegation, they should go to prison happily for all the thousands of years of abuse by men to women, that all men need to suffer.
MGTOW got really popular in 2017-2019. Many Incels called themselves MGTOW, and a lot of grifters tried to make money from the movement. Many social media sites have curtailed and censored a lot of MGTOW content. Some actually good healthy content that teach the guy to focus on himself, and not the woman. Self perfection over anything else.
Well, a lot of hateful videos also came about. Some were the Incels. Some were the grifters, but there were also people flying a false flag saying bad things to get MGTOW in trouble, removed and curtailed on the Internet.
There is also the, "Red Pill Rage" where a guy gets mad when he feels like he was sold a system by society that hurts him. Many of these guys are very toxic sounding when they learn all the details, but once they get through the grieving process, they lose the rage, and the toxic tongue.
And the only major critique is that many guys go on and on about women in MGTOW circles. I will admit it takes about two years to fully engulf in the philosophy.
First year you hear all the details. You don't really believe it, but you are encouraged to go back to dating and testing your knowledge. Most get proven, and it caused the guy to kind of freak out. That's when the first Rage starts up. He might go out on a few more dates, get into a short-term relationship, and once he sees the relationships from a MGTOW eye, he gets really triggered.
Year two is working through all the lies you were told growing up. You often rage at least one or two more times for a few months each. And after all the stuff you question, and experience, there is a certain release. It feels good. You feel like you are awaken, and making decisions on your own. And you can sense how others were driving you, and leading you into things. This is called getting off the Plantation.
Many guys never quite make it. Many will at least have better boundaries in relationships. They know what will happen to them, again, and again, but they feel better in the matrix, the Cyphiers.
If you do graduate, on your own, and you will know it, if you get there, most will become what is effectively monks and will be about helping others find their way. You don't get excited when you see women, nor men. You can turn off or on sexual desire, and you can control that. You can stand back and listen and see a person for everything they are, than get stuck wanting to achieve something you don't fully understand.
And from there, a monk will either keep helping, or focus purely on their career or hobbies. Everything that once controlled him, is no more. And you find once there, you need so little to get by and exist in a peaceful state.

M. G. T. O. W never said hate women, it simply said, Take care of her based on how you feel for her, and how she treats you!..
If you are a SIMP You can still be in MGTOW and you choose your own way which is to Worship Her!.. But if you are worshiping her under influence of law or peer pressure!.. Then not in MGTOW.
This led men to re-establish the boundary of, "Holding up the relationship and not get abused by the overpower that, Law and Feminism Gave to Immoral-women. Moral Women were never the problem."
But Very Soon, "MGTOW was getting swarmed by Incapable Lazy Immoral-men, who weren't willing to work on themselves, and started using MGTOW as a shield." Resulting in MGTOW Getting Hijacked too!..

You can't say MGTOW is "just about hating women" without also realizing the same is true of feminism. The truth is both have valid grievances, and both just want to point out the haters on the other side. Neither is any more or less hat driven than the other.
The biggest difference is that feminism is taken seriously and society doesn't afford men's grievances the same credibility.
I knew what the acronym meant, but I honestly had no idea what the people IN MGTOW were like. And I quite think that they have explained themselves rather more effectively than ANYONE else ever could have. So…. There you go, you got your answer.

stating facts isn't hate, nor is it blame. it's important to push emotions to the side and look at this objectively

Well if I have to be honest many women are wrong. Some are even going out of their way to mis-characterize any men that is willing to help boys become men, and self aware. Society has and some groups, have made it an agenda to destroy the gender basis. (The beauty of what makes a woman a woman and a man a man) so yes. We restoration of being a man is being reconstructed. When men say something about a female. Insure ur name is not attached. If not, you are not whom is in question. They don't hate women, they just consider that the dating scene today is rigged against them and they have more to lose by dating than just living their lives. They have female friends and even hookup sometimes, they just don't date or marry.

I mean, what is feminism and being a feminist? It’s the same thing.. men just found a cooler name for it. But it’s one and the same. But women been doing that for years. Way before my time, blaming men for there problems, bashing men for being men, etc… for the record, I think both are pathetic! I don’t subscribe to social fads like that. No. MGTOW is about men abandoning the pressure or traditional approach on getting married and having kids as the life goal. It's about changing their focus towards themselves. Being focused more on things that matter to them rather than on trying to attract women. Majority of them still love women in general. But they avoid the traditional marriage and kids part because courts are biased against men.

MGTOW is a parody unto itself. If a "man wants to go his own way", does he need a group? LOL That's not your own way, that's a club. The idea behind it is that there's far more RISK and little benefit for a man to marry, cohabitate or seriously engage with a woman, and he's better off on his own. Some of these men "blame" women for making it so, and blame societal laws for giving women all the advantages if there's a divorce or child custody involved.
It's not, it's mainly against the marriage system and to a lesser extent the dating game. At least that's how most of these men find themselves there, getting screwed over by divorce courts.

But it's important to note that feminism spawned MGTOW. Feminism is the only reasons MGTOW exists. If feminism went away, so would MGTOW. Anyone who criticizes MGTOW and not feminism is either really dumb or very dishonest.
The reality is its lots of different competing interests. Add in the safe anonymity of the internet and you'll get a lot more honesty than you would face to face. Some beautiful people can be really ugly.
It's about men begging for attention from women by pretending they don't want attention from women.
The men who are really going their own way are too busy going their own way to talk about it.
There are chauvinists in MGTOW circles and misandry in feminist groups.
They're both upset and blame the other sex for different reasons and for problems that are often their own.
