Would love to see someone with Trump’s ideas and business sense. Not necessarily the Donald! But if he runs it will probably turn out to be another 2020 episode with all sorts of questionable people voting.

Millard Fillmore. Very unlikely, since he's, you know, DEAD, but the way things've been going... The good news is that pretty much anyone else would be a step up, except maybe Dick Cheney.
I think my ideal would be someone who's a political moderate, and can act as a unifying force between our political blocs, or at least a reminder that we CAN get along, if we so choose. It'd also be nice to have someone who's NOT mentally still enmeshed in the Cold War, and who ISN'T closer to retirement age than to 18 (we've only had four or five of those so far). And we HAD that, and she was both a woman AND an ex-solider, which should've brought in MORE votes (she was an idiot on nuclear power, but hey, you can't have everything), but no; the DNC said "We want Biden!", a man who should've been shot for treason decades ago.
This may not be the darkest timeline, but it's easily the stupidest.
Trump would be better than most, but there's no (good) reason the Republicans can't do better... Pretty much any prominent Democrat and a significant chunk of the recognizable Republicans wouldn't be much better than what we have now, but a Kamala Harris presidency would probably be the absolute worst, especially if it came with a democrat majority in the house and Senate.

I predicted that the next president to be installed will be AOC. But now I think it will be Hillary that's installed. AOC makes too many waves for the establishment, but Hillary sold her soul to the devil a long time ago.

I try not to tune into "hate", that's such a bitter emotion. I try to find understanding and tolerate until can find better.
I tolerate the ones we have and I wouldn't want to see them back.
It doesn't affect me but I think deSantis would be a disaster. Then again the ship is hitting the rocks anyway, it doesn't make much difference who's steering.
