What questions would you want to ask a feminist whose answer feminists always avoid?

I've been studying feminism. I grew up a lefty liberal, became a right winger. Became a free market guy.

Since then I have been studying "the left" for a long time. I believe I am capable of answering right wingers questions about left wing topics. But questions about feminism would be easier for me to answer. I am not so informed on day to day politics as well. So my questions will be aimed at pointing out the underlying philosophy or ways of thinking that create what we see feminists and the left in general do in day to day life.

I want to know those questions you have that feminists do not answer. I suppose you could ask about any leftist position if you want.

I am still a free market nut job. So don't get it twisted. Me understanding the left does not mean I am on the left. This means I will be answering your questions in a way that I think will make sense to you as a person who is right wing.

Since I understand the right, I can make the wacky things they say make sense.

Also feminists and lefties, feel free to critique my answers.

But yea, what questions do you have?

How can western feminists claim modern western feminism is about "equality" when it clearly cares only about half of the population?

The only way they can justify that is by claiming western females are oppressed and western males are not, which clearly is not the case.

Feminism is mostly about one thing. That is the relation of the genders of men and women.

It's not necessarily about this particular thing or that, such as divorce and child custody. A man can claim that the courts are unfair.

But mostly what academic feminism is focused on is how the concept of what is a man, and the concept of what is a woman, ultimately causes a lot of bad results for women.

So feminism is really mostly about understanding how gender, or our concept of man and woman, are contributing to negative consequences for women. Whether acted out by men or in the culture or wherever they can identify some aspect of life where the concept of man and woman damages women. It could be any area of reality, not just government.

That is where feminism does most of its work. But that's the intellectual level.

Feminists advocate for equality yes. But they aren't fighting for equality. Feminists are working specifically on what I said above.

The way our concepts of gender have shaped society and such.

Feminists believe that ultimately, gender, man and woman, and the way the two are related, is in such a way that women are fundamentally subjugated. That the concepts of men and women as they are, are constructed in a way that gives men power and takes power away from women.

This is all how they see it. But the explanations and justifications are all philosophical and psychology and so on.

I'm not saying they're correct because intellectuals are constructing all of this. I'm just pointing out that that is where feminism comes from. It comes from intellectuals. Education. Colleges.

The things that feminists say online are dumbed down 10 times before it gets to them.

You're online arguing with people who don't know their beliefs any better than you do.

I don't think the question makes any sense to a feminist. You're asking for a hypothetical situation and the moral view of that situation.

You think that feminists follow some kind of universal morality. No, most educated feminists are communists. Not the same for lay person feminists, but those are the ones you probably deal with most of the time.

On the intellectual level your question makes no sense. It has zero connection to feminism as an intellectual activity.

I think what happens is you see a lot of "feminists" who are like liberals or leftists in general.

They believe in some kind of morality. And they'll scream in your face for not adhering to their view of morality.

So you get a lot of ignorant feminists online acting crazy. Saying stupid shit that makes no sense.

Same goes with liberals or leftists. Even a leftist will scream at a liberal because a liberal still believes in capitalism.

Feminism at the highest level is not about the same thing that your average feminist nutjob thinks it's about.

I think a rational, educated feminist who knows what they're talking about would say the question is irrelevant. The things they think about have nothing to do with hypothetical "moral" situations.

I think they would say, let any free person make the choice they wish to make.

If a man wants to sacrifice himself let him. If a woman wants to sacrifice herself, let her.

But ultimately I think the question has very little to do with Feminism.

You're asking the question because you need to understand more about it. And I get that. That's all you can do is ask because you don't know wtf they think.

There's 2 kinds of feminism. There's 2 kinds of liberalism. The tree s 2 kinds of conservatism.

There's those who imderstand a high level, and those who don't.

Those who don't run their mouths a lot. They do it the most.

Mostly the debates about feminism I see online have nothing to do with feminism on either side. Especially the feminist side.

They're usually completely detached from intellectual feminism.

But their crazy ideas DO COME from intellectual feminism.

But just like in science, feminist ideas are dumbed down multiple times before it reaches the lay person population.

But conservatives are aware of the depth that feminism goes into science and philosophy. Whereas even feminists themselves don't have a clue. They never questioned their own beliefs enough to learn more.

I know that conservstives are aware of the depth that it goes, but they're confused about wtf they're talking about.

I can answer questions about the philosophy and stuff. But your question on the arbitrary moral situation is harder to answer because it's just not connected to what the intellectuals are thinking up.

I don't think the question is relevant to feminism.

Feminism is mostly about the fact that our conceptions of gender are fundamental yo the oppression of women. Women being seen as always taking care of the kids.

It's not so much about who has it worse, men or women? How fair is the world, comparing men and women? What would fairness look like?

I don't think those are questions feminists can answer.

Feminism is mostly about how women are oppressed and that's mostly it. Also now Feminism has LGBT world under its wing as well.

So Feminism isn't really about speculating who has it better or what exactly is the right way for society to be structured.

Rather it's looking at the structure of society and seeing how society is structured in a way that disadvantages women.

Most feminists are lay people. They don't know shit. They're online having arguments and talking shit and being counter productive just like every other people who believes in literally any ideology. The majority who follow it, are ignorant AF.

Not that I'm a feminist or advocating for Feminism. Because personally I'm a free market guy and Feminism is anti capitalism.

But uh yea, I just wish I could see honest debate and discussions but no such thing exists. The feminists are ill informed of their own views just as much as the anti feminist they argue with.

Such as feminism. Conservstives ask questions that liberals never would. Those who are on the left blindly accept what they are told to believe.

Therefore most of them have no clue how deep the thinking went, done by very smart people.

But condervstives ask questions that cannot be answered by lay people.

So it's useful to know what questions they have. It widens my ability to search and learn more. Dig deeper. Get to the bottom of things and such.

You have no choice but to listen to some expert who is vastly more educated than you.

The point I'm making is that conservstives are debating with people online who don't actually know any better. And ultimately they're engaging in pointless debates with people who don't have the answers to the questions they have.
