Entrance fee is minimal. All you need is a youtube channel and a website. There's nothing stopping you. You only live once!

I'm not old enough. If I was, though... Ehh, still probably not. See, I'd argue that it being "elite" people that it was reserved for is part of the problem. Aside from Trump, the last political outsider we had was Carter, and look how THAT went.

Also, I don't have a colorful enough history, so my opponents will have to go with stuff that's totally inconsequential even by electoral standards, and I'll probably sustain serious injuries from rolling my eyes too hard, then counter with even stupider allegations, like that my opponent plans to travel through time to sell nuclear secrets to dinosaurs ("proven" by an illustration drawn by a kindergartner). That would definitely appeal to some people, but not enough of them.

Which is just as well, as I'd probably end up nuking Congress, anyway.

I was going to run for State Rep in my town. The guy that was in there was a Democrat and was really not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I spoke to another State Rep that I had met an discussed it with him. I was getting ready to take out papers when my state rep drowned in his pool. His wife ended up finishing his term but I didn't want to be known as the guy that ran against a dead guy's wife.

I would literally take every single issue (fiscal, social and international) and meet it in the middle and split the difference. I would be the most lukewarm president in the world.

Sounds boring af right? Well every single president has gotten more and more and more radical over the past few decades. He pendulum as swung so far it’s starting to spin in circles. It needs to STOP.

I would also jail all self avowed radicals on both sides. No more complaining about proud boys while saying “antifa is just an ideology”. No more saying “Qanon are fine people”.

Difference is society has dumbed down and people have a false sense of connection where a HS drop out receives a DM from a multi millionaire and thinks they are now on the same level. Never been a president in history of US who didn't have an impeccable 1% type resume. Which just live in a time where people who have accomplished less have more platforms to complain about their life failures.

Actually, I think the form we have now for electing a president is hugely biased and outdated.

I purpose that we should keep the voting for House of Representatives and Senators the same but with a 12 year lifetime max servitude and all party candidates have equal footing. No top percentage at the polls and no minimum funding limits. Ideally, limit the Democrats and Republicans to 33% of the seats max.

However, for POTUS and VPOTUS, I would like to see a lottery established which everyone that meets Constitutional requirements for either office are eligible for being selected for either office. A random verifiable Social Security Number is pulled by a computer algorithm and that person becomes POTUS or VPOTUS. If the person declines, another random SSN is then pulled until someone accepts. This way, no political parties are involved at all, no having to put up with lame presidential debates or commercials or millions of dollars wasted. Everyone has an equal chance.

1.) Still too young as I would need to be 35.

2.) Why do a job for 4 years and destroy your mental and physical health for a country where half or just over half of the population will hate your guts for trying to do the best for everyone?

I want to actually do stuff and be productive rather than simply being an actor pretending to produce results. It's exceedingly hard to do that at the state level let alone federal.
