Do you believe in and practice punishing companies that align themselves with woke culture by not financially supporting their business, why, why not? (Page 2)
The company said on Tuesday the move would protect employees after what it described as "volatile circumstances" in some of its 2,000 shops.
In ***some states***, Target said it had moved Pride month merchandise to the back of the store.
... "Since introducing this year's collection, we've experienced threats impacting our team members' sense of safety and well-being while at work," Target said in a statement.
"Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the centre of the most significant confrontational behaviour.""
@goaded hahahaha... as I said, you'll fall for anything. Target doesn't give a shit about it's employees, it doesn't even give a shit about the alphabet mafia. It cares about boosting its ESG score to keep the investors pumping money into the company.
Exactly. Average, working Americans, have had enough. The fact that rebellion has taken THIS long exemplifies how tolerant average people are, much more tolerant than the crazy left.
I expect they're backing Republicans for the tax cuts and reduced regulations, while simultaneously responding to the sensibilities of the youth of the day. It's a big corporation, lots of different people working in what makes sense for their little corner.
I will not purchase anything that is what percent. I will withdraw my investments through anybody that supports woke. I do not like supporting little little nitwits. They can go broke for all I care.
Absolutely. Businesses should not be political or else they alienate a lot of their potential customers. Unfortunately many of them do and for that they need to make sure that we remind them why going political is a bad business practice.
Yeah I think Gillette was the first one to make an example of themselves years back when they tried to use “toxic masculinity” as a way to market their sales
Isn't it funny how the right wing, when they're cancelling something, aren't satisfied with just spreading the word and not buying the product, but shoot things and threaten violence?
Boycotting a product or company for their ish and the way they are doing business is totally different trying to cancel someone and ruin their career because they didn't use the proper pronoun with the damn LGBT weirdos.
Comedians can't even tell a damn joke anymore without these pricks pushing trying to cancel their shows and ruin everything for everyone when they simply just can boycott the comedian show by not going to it live or watching his or her show Netflix etc.
If you want a clear answer to your question, it's this: You can "punish" companies by refusing to purchase their products and spreading the word so that others will do the same, you cannot "punish" companies by threatening their employees; that's terrorism.

Target, too. They’re hiding all their satanic trans clothes.
Punish them.
Target are withdrawing things because their staff are getting threats of violence. Not because of a simple boycott.
@goaded if that were true, they’d remove them completely. God you’re so easily fooled.

"US retailer Target is removing some items from its LGBTQ Pride Collection after threats and confrontations in certain stores.

And you'll lie about anything. I was right, you were wrong, as usual. Deal with it.
@goaded lmao. You're just mad you can't buy tucking bathing suits.
So are Facebook/Meta, Disney, Marvel, Target, etc...
Exactly. Average, working Americans, have had enough. The fact that rebellion has taken THIS long exemplifies how tolerant average people are, much more tolerant than the crazy left.
@KrakenAttackin look up something called the Odin switch
Its not punishment.
Those companies chose to enter politics instead of selling their product and people who oppose their politics chose not to buy their stuff.
And bud light found out that wokians dont drink beer
They're a major donor to the National Republican Congressional Committee.
"The NRCC put out and then swiftly deleted a direct attack on Bud Light, whose parent company donated nearly $500,000 to its candidates in the most recent campaign cycle."

@goaded how does that make sense? Backing republicans but engaging in wokism?

@goaded ok. That does make sense

At this point, with the number of dead kids, some of these companies should be prosecuted.
Yeah I think Gillette was the first one to make an example of themselves years back when they tried to use “toxic masculinity” as a way to market their sales
Bud light? That weak ass beer that CONSERVATIVES DRINK
You wouldn't have caught me dead drinking that shit, even before the "debacle"

I do because wokeness is a disease that must be eradicated.
It's just marketing. It's okay to punish a company for having stupid marketing.
I believe you can boycott whatever company you want for whatever reason. That’s capitalism.
I wouldn't drink/buy Bud Light because it's shit, wokeness is not relevant to me in this case,,,
I buy what I need when I need it from who has it. I don't care about a company's politics.
Yes, punish these pedophile companies.
Yes I do
