This term is seen a lot in regards to how desirable a woman is but from what I can tell hitting a wall generally refers to the time period when a woman can produce healthy children safely.
And while there is biological truth to this to some extent. I honestly can't imagine being told that after a certain age you are essentially worthless as a human being.
But maybe this is why so many pro abortion types are so hesitant to get their tubes tied or their uterus's taken out. They don't want kids, but they do want the value that comes with being able to have kids, because subconsciously they believe with that capacity to give birth they truly believe they have no value.

When you run a marathon the body runs out of glycogen around mile 20. After that a severe fatigue sets in. Many people say it feels like hitting a wall. I always thought it was an exaggeration but then again I have witnessed many people drop out of a race in the last mile. One marathon I ran a guy that was running next to me was going to quit with about 100 yards to go. I pushed him the last hundred yards and he made it. I still have the picture of the wo of us crossing the finishe line.
i think it is a "limit" of age, too old.
Eh i've seen 50 year olds that still look good
