A day to celebrate! Conservative Supreme Court Ends the Last Vestige of 'Systemic Racism' in America. Do you agree?

On Thursday, June 29, the U. S. Supreme Court issued a majority opinion on something the Left has been clamoring to abolish, ever since the 2020 death of George Floyd and that evoked the Great Awokening of systemic racism" in America. The Leftist media should have been all over this, but they weren't. Why?

Thursday's consolidated opinion combined two affirmative action cases, Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard College and Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina, approximated the ending so-called "systemic racism" in America. The dissenters were Left/Liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Yet the Wokesters, "identity politics" enthusiasts, "anti-racism" proponents, race hustlers, and the demented President of the United States himself would all, instead, have us believe that a far-right, reactionary cabal of Conservatives on the High Court "set us back" on the issue of race. How can that be, when racial discrimination was outlawed by the decisions? Was there some overarching principal supporting The Harvard and UNC admission policies which is superior to outlawing racial discrimination?

Is Affirmative Action superior to preventing Racial Discrimination?

These decisions overturn the Court's blurred fog of Affirmative Action precedents going back almost 50 years and are vindication of the U. S. Constitution's colorblindness, in the spirit of the desegregation ruling in Brown v. Board of Education. Race-conscious admissions decisions in American universities have been vanquished in the name of the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause. It was about time.

It ain't over while United Steelworkers V Weber still stands, and probably a few others I'm not aware of, but this is an important step forward. Would that it had been a liberal Supreme Court coming to that conclusion; these days, the conservatives have pretty much all realized racism's a bad deal and moved beyond it, so it's a less of a step up on their part. I'll certainly take it, though.

But I do have to note that, given that East Asians were the one getting hardest by these decisions, the picture should probably have been a crying woman of that ethnicity being "denied", since they couldn't reject her on that basis any more.

I can't prove or disprove that. However, conservatives DO care about the Constitution. They don't pretend that, like in overturning Roe.

One of those was racial Justice stuff for college, bc racism directly effected how minorities got education. It makes it harder for them to go to school, good school, & then harder to get good grades. U don't rlly think whole groups of people are just "biologically less merit" do you? Like u know that doesn't make sense, especially in a country where wealth contributes to your learning opportunities so significantly? Public schools are paid for by fucking property tax, and it's illegal to send ur kids to a better school if it's "outside ur district." U know what gerrymandering is? Bro this isn't about "they're letting dumb people into college bc they're black," It's about "they're not expecting everyone to have had the same chances for education and development, bc statistically they literally don't, and its heavily racism enforcing those differences." Racial justice. Trying at some level at least to bridge the gap that racism causes in higher education.

That's why I agree w stats that shows its racism and all that shit that leads to the inequality, imbalance between race groups in higher education. Like I explained in a reply already. I didn't pull any of this out my ass, it's just history. America has been very intensely racist for a long time. And that obviously has had consequences for many people. And affirmative action is for offsetting that negative impact.
