Diseases spread person to person. If on average each person infects more than 1 other person the disease expands until it has infected a large fraction of the population - as COVID did.

If each person infects less than one other person the disease dies away and infects very few people.

The early forms of covid infected 4 people for each already infected if no other actions were taken. Various pecautions, social distancing, masks etc got that down to just a little over 1. That still meant that at least 200 million americans got it an about a million died.

If most peopel have been vaccinated early, the vaccine reduces your chance of spreading the disease and that ration would have gone below 1. Very few people would have been infected.

Your vaccination status (and mask wearing) impacts other people, not just yourself. You are putting others - espeically the elderly, at risk by not being vaccinated.

Liberals inside and outside of the US are not typically advocates of 'socialism and or communism' also outside of the US if you want to talk about socialism or communism you just use those terms, we don't mix and match these ideas or if 'we' do its because 'we' are being dishonest.

65% of the people in the US believe that 'climate change is a global emergency' and 70% of them believe that 'everything necessary should be being done, urgently' to deal with this problem.

A majority of people in EVERY AREA IN THE ENTIRE WORLD believe this.

Only a TINY minority of people believe that nothing should be done or it isn't real (about 5%)

I don't know why you think that climate change isn't real, to the best of my knowledge there is no reason what so ever to think that, there is no evidence supporting the position and all of the arguments that I have heard are obviously wrong.

This is not cherry picked, this is literally the first 'poll' that i could find on the subject, the first ones i found were more than 15 years old, so not particularly common and easy to find it would seem.

As you will see about 70% of Americans are either fairly or very concerned about climate change.

So I don't know what you are basing your world views on but it isn't reality.

What we are talking about is making the Earth uninhabitable for all humans, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect you to have more backing your position than a vague sense of whether something is a scam or not.

As a Republican you probably support the idea that it is ok to use deadly force in self defence, so is there a good reason why the people of the world shouldn't use lethal force to prevent you from killing everyone?
