For any Hawaiians on GAG. Are you still going to vote for Biden in 2024?

I do not imagine there are a lot of Hawaiians on GAG to get a true consensus on this. But unless you are living under a rock then you wouldn’t of heard about how Biden reacted to the Maui tragedy.

It wasn’t just a one time accidental lapse in judgment either (although that’s Biden’s daily existence now). Biden

• First said he had “no comment” about the Maui wildfires
• Stayed on his vacation in Delaware and then took ANOTHER vacation in Lake Tahoe. He took almost two weeks to finally visit Maui. He only visited for a day
• Told a absolutely despicable “sympathy” story about how a lightning bolt started a fire in his old lake house and he “almost” lost his corvette. Meanwhile children have burned to death just recently in Maui.
• Loudly joked about “hot ground” when he landed in Maui.
• Promised $700 to the displaced residents of Maui. Have you ever been to Maui? $700 won’t make it longer than 4 days out there for lodging and food IF you are lucky. Oh but so generous.

But Hawaii has been a deep blue state for decades. So Biden has nothing to worry about. After all he’s a emphatic “grandpa” right?

No worries. This incident will be out of the news in two weeks tops (the mass media would blame a republican for the rest of his life he said that). But I have to wonder if Biden infuriated enough Hawaiians that they might punish him in 2024. Small electoral state but still.

For you other republicans out there it’s really up to us to never forget this. Reason being is the media will do its best to quickly drop and bury coverage. I can tell someone hasn't even been to Maui, it's laid back liberal and it's made up of mostly pacific islanders. It takes too much time to visit the islands from the Eastern Continental US, let alone from Washington DC, and they would have to leave overnight to make their itinerary. It's not like just hop on a plane and go to Texas. So you're just not being realistic to the job.

Last President to even campaign visit in Hawaii was Dick Cheney for GW Bush of all people because they felt they had a slim chance.

@Jamie05rhs remember Hurricane Katrina? Bush’s response wasn’t even a fraction as bad as Biden’s. He didn’t continue on with two weeks of vacation and say “no comment” when asked about it. But yet the democrats NEVER let up or forgave him about that.

Anyway besides Biden’s conceited behavior there is one thing democrats can’t run from: inflation and a teetering economy. It’s hurting everybody including them. That’s the top issue Republicans need to pounce on at every available opportunity.

I think it will be the number one concern of a number of young women who vote. I agree that the current administration seems more concerned with placating their core constituency than running the country, but that was also true in the previous administration.

Well anon a few things about your insightful comment:

1) you can only assume Trump would of reacted the same. But it’s no secret he’s never was empathetic from day 1. But he wasn’t elected to be “emphatic”. He was elected to get a f*cking job done. It definitely had the economy (which cuts through everything) in good shape.

2) lots of democrats voted for Biden thinking he was a “kindly old grandpa” but now obviously apparent he’s nothing but a selfish POS. Now he’s gone completely senile he is unable to out up any facade. How he reacted about Maui is the true Biden. He’s only thinking about himself, his corvette and his beach time on Delaware.

3) besides optics literally everything Biden has touched during his campaign has gone to sh*t. Not kidding. “Never underestimate Joe Biden’s ability to f*ck things up.” - Barack Obama

4) since you brought up race where are all the “celebrations” for our first black female VP Kamala Harris? Oh wait a minute she’s gotten even lower approval ratings then Biden (and Biden’s are lower then Trump’s during his time in office). She completely worthless.
