Am I crazy for not supporting Palestine or Israel?

i believe that the war is crazy i can't support either side because i think they both did wrong i know Hamas was formed because of Israel and Israel was formed because of Europe even though Europe was the ones that kicked them out anyways and i condemn both parties for killing innocent people i want peace i don't understand how people can celebrate what happened when Hamas killed those innocent people and i don't understand how anyone can support the bombing of Gaza

one more thing you can talk about 75 years of occupation but killing civilians leave a nasty taste in my mouth since 2011 I've donated over 30k to Palestine never again now realise i could have been one of those people killed in Israel i think both are evil and i can't support both yet i feel the people i talk to look at me like I'm mad

I support innocent civilians on both sides.


And I do not support the killing of innocent civilians of either side.


If a war must be fought, combatants should fight against fellow combatants, and reduce collateral damage as much as possible.


I do not support the methods of Hamas.


But, I also do not support the methods of the IDF in this conflict.


Both are in breach of honorable conduct.


The only reason why I hold the IDF more accountable is because as an official government-backed military, paid by tax dollars, I had higher expectations of them in terms of honor, as compared to a terrorist organization, which I don’t expect to conduct themselves honorably.

Clarification: I hold both accountable, equally. But, I had higher expectations of the IDF.

Just like police brutality right?

You expect police officers to act less corrupt than criminals.

In the same way, I expected the IDF to act more honorably than terrorists.

Both the Jews and the Muslims that are sincere in their faith do not support the IDF nor Hamas. Because both are acting against the teachings of their respective religions.

I personally lean towards support of the Palestinians, because apart from the IDF and Hamas, between the innocent civilians that want no part of this war, the Palestinian non-combatants have it worse than the Israeli non-combatants. — Blockaded on every side, living in a war zone, with no safe haven to go to, because the IDF is treating not just Hamas, but EVERYONE as a terrorist.

But, if you want to remain neutral, that’s understandable. Innocent civilian lives are important to protect on both sides. I support the protection of Israeli civilians as well. It’s just that the sheer number of civilian casualties on the Palestinian side is so much greater, so my sympathy is greater for them.

No you are complety reasonable both sides try to claim the moral high ground with ine claiming they have been treated wrong so its justified what happens and the other classing all people hit by the bombs as terrorists or terrorist sympathisers both sides are clearly wrong when killings civilians seems to be acceptable for the win
