I just talked to guy who couldn't stop complaining and exaggerating things about his own people. I see it as internalised opression and the need to be accepted by people who hate your kind.
Why do some people hate their own kind?

Seems kinda silly to consider people "your kind" just for having ancestors that lived near each other. Why not consider people with whom you share common ideas and values "your kind."

It's a fact of life, if they share the same ethnicity, geographic location, religion and maybe even nationality. So yes, then you are from there and they are your people and your kind.
You can't erase your origins, change your DNA/Ethnicity and background no matter how hard you try, and doing so is pathetic. And that's besides the point anyway. He is from that particular place, he is of that race. Then he leaves. Ok, but. Why stigmatise your people/place of origin? lie and exaggerate about them?
If a bunch of people are behaving like fucktards, it's fine to call them out on it. And it doesn''t matter WHO they are or how they're related to you. So you'd really need to get more specific for us to determine if someone's actions or point of view are justified.
How is that fair when it isn't objective? Bad people are everywhere so not one particular group is worse (except one mation that i can think of i. e. israhell). With that being said, what's the point? And why exaggerate and lie? Like if a black person moves from US to Sweden and tries hard to roll with the white folks by hating on his own kind and claiming that all blacks, not only Americans, are bums and violent, for example. Thats inferiority complex...
U can't have objective thought from people tho as soon as u have people with thoughts and emotions nothing will be objective expecting people to not be hateful or not be racist its crazy people have always been this way since the beginning of time it's shit but thats reality I think this guy your talking about is a clown but me thinking that won't change his opinion
True. But I just wanted opinions as to why they're like that. To me, its unacceptable and rude behaviour. EVEN if kets say I dont totally disagree with them, I don't like exaggerations and lies, claiming the whole bunch is rotten just because of a few bad apples. I dont like calling out one group of people while ignoring the faults and flaws of the rest of the world. Pointless conversation in the end. Just blaming pointing fingers but no action to change even what's within yourself

Eh. Not really. You have freedom of association. You can choose to stay there if it serves you but if it doesn't you should move on.

It's just white people. Other races dont do this nearly as much.
What is meant by this tho
As people are capable of being critical of their own communities without it being hate
For example a Korean person who immigrates to Japan and hates on his own people.
How do u define hating and being critical of the community
Like, saying things like I hate their way fo life they're the worst people on this planet etc
If thats what he was saying fair enough

Because they don't care to change or care about what's actully true just like staring their own biases
