Get the laws changed that allows people in all states to open carry. If women are at risk, a 9mm to the chest can stop a rapist. Why would you be against open carry in all states if it would prevent more rapes?

Shit gets more complicated in magnitudes with any violence gets involved. It only gives more power to the people who already have massive amount of power.

That's why you get training. This isn't a movie where bad guys can disarm someone very easily. Its all about training and gun safety

It stops bad guys with guns. The police dont arrive immediately to stop a threat. But if a good guy with a gun is present, he can stop the threat sooner

@jshm2 The mass shootings are a very recent phenomenon. We have had the second amendment since the country's founding and kids used to being guns to school for gun clubs and somehow we haven't had very little if any mass shootings.

Women's (and men's) jails are swamped by women who in self defense murdered their attackers. Plus there are a lot of women who are way too paranoid to be carrying a gun. A better solution would be to avoid being in a dangerous situation like that.
