As for being blunt, I guess you mean, because I don't use little kiddie words like, "boobies" or "down there". If I say, "down there" when referring to a crotch, what's the first thing you think of? The particular crotch in question, right? So, if you're mentally going to go there, anyway, why should I bother to pull punches when the words I'd use mean the exact same thing and are gonna make you image the exact same thing in your mind? All I've done by using the words I chose is keep you from having to employ your internal interpreter.
