Do you think dress codes should include undergarments?

Many schools and workplaces already put all sorts of rules on what clothes you can wear if you're an employee or student (some even have uniforms!), but is that enough? Or should they also have rules about what kind of clothes you can wear under your clothes? Or even whether you have to wear undergarments or not?

And if so, how should these rules be enforced? Obviously you can't ask an employee—and especially can't ask a kid—to show you their undergarments to verify they are up to code. At least I hope nobody would suggest that that is an appropriate way to enforce undergarment dress code rules...

The question isn't would you like to be told what underwear to wear. It's SHOULD dress codes include undergarments? Like work dresscodes and school dress codes. And if so how would that realistically be enforced?

No lol. The question doesn't reflect what I think personally. I ask it because some places have tried to enforce dress codes for undergarments before, and I want to know if something like that is generally seen as reasonable or completely insane.
