Have you ever broke up with someone because he was too dumb?

The last few men I went out with, I stopped seeing because they were simply too dumb. For people with somewhat little bit of intelligence, are typically able to understand concepts "oh, I can see why someone would take those actions"... but for dumb people, they're just complexly incapable of this. As a result, they would argue back with great hostility since their capability of understanding things (by themselves) is so low.

Therefore, I would have to EXPLAIN every little thing step by step to them so that they would finally understand. They would argue with me until I took the time to explain to them step by step. Everything needs to be explained step by step meticulously so that they can finally understand and agree with me.

Often times, these people do things that just MAKE NO SENSE. Like their fuck ups in life are so severe. Their decisions they make in life are usually terrible.

When they complain about their problems, I can see the through the situation very quickly. They can't. So they would argue with me on the advice that I give. Then 3 months later, they come back completely agreeing with what I had said.

Over the past month, I got rid of 3 guys due to their lack of intelligence. I am honestly convinced by this point that no smart person would ever be able to get along with a dumb person. I am 100% certain that only dumb people date other dumb people.

Jokes aside now, what constitutes stupid, can be subjective and relative. For example, you might not be able to solve an extremely difficult problem in engineering, which could be a piece of cake for someone else. This doesn't necessarily mean you're dumb, right? According to studies, intelligence follows a normal distribution, which means most people would score close to the middle of the curve in an iq test

It is possible for a person to be less knowledgeable on a topic than others. No one is infallible, or is born with all the answers. I bet everyone must have said something stupid at least once in their life. A wise man understands the limitations of his/her knowledge and that there is so much more to learn in life and is humble. As Socrates said once, "I only know this; that I know nothing".

On the other hand, I doubt that those, who act all smug, brag about their intellect and call others stupid, are as smart as they think they are. Otherwise they wouldn't feel the need to advertise it and put down others. I personally would never befriend a braggart

1. Your question contains a grammatical error.

2. If you keep choosing to date these guys, and realizing only later how dumb they are, then maybe you're not as perceptive or intelligent as you think.

3. You seem spend a lot of time arguing with your dates. A person with more emotional intelligence would probably be able to avoid this.

I have never made any of these guys my boyfriend. I only saw them a couple of times. No, I dont spend a lot of time arguing with them, I just cut them off. I am aware of the errors made, I wrote this question while I had been without sleep for 2 whole days.

I have picked out good guys and happily married for a long time.
I know how to read people…
My daughter didn’t till 2nd yr of HS. She is picking good quality friends and also know the type of guys she wants at 18 now.
When we are raise with certain values and standards, we can see that when we meet others. So it’s easy to spot one who does not share the same value as myself.
I don’t like to call people names.
Self reflect and learn about what you want… then when you meet someone new, you can read them well.

I picked my tenants without seeing them. I just need one phone call and know if I will rent to them. The way they speak tells me a lot.

Dumb people can't form the right opinions and judgments or make the right decisions because they're dumb and short sighted. Its like they walk around with impaired brains
