Is Shady Brook an ethical brand of turkey to buy?

all that really means is that the turkeys are so cramped together that they are probably standing on top of each other when they are "free" to run around out of a cage. its not like they each have an individual cage they live in its all done in a big barn, turkey room, thing. inevitable there will be a few dozen turkeys per batch that get crushed under the weight of the other turkeys. very inhumane living conditions they grow up in. you got to learn to read between the lines with this sorta stuff they like to spin the truth allot. maybe try a small independent organic grower near where you live.
I shoot wild turkeys can't get any more organic/ethical then that.
not sure I don't really look into food brands much but I'm sure that a lot of meat companies are unethical in some way or form I mean naturally were carnivores and we want the meat so no matter what way you treat the animal you're still going to kill it and eat it. either that way or become a vegetarian.
sounds like the turkeys are treated kinda well. but honestly, if you're worried about it, don't get a turkey. there are so many veggie alternatives
No choice... I am not the one buying it.
