Yea you should offer that to her.. just you know to be with her , since she will be extremely depressed and most probably cry the whole time .. it doesn't matter if you didn't know the person, you just being there for your girlfriend :)
Go to the funeral withher and support her while she's there. Just be there for her as a support system, it doesn't matter if you don't know the person. Try to distract her from it and stuff. I'm very sorry about her friend. Good,uck.
