My boyfriend doesn't appreciate my drawings

Sometimes I try to understand my boyfriend but he pissed me off about the art I draw for him. He's not good at saying things about my art and thinks just liking or faving it is good enough. And saying I only want praise and if I like it that should be all that matters :( So I was depressed all day. We made up and said he was sorry, but it still hurts like I just don't want to draw for him anymore. He supports my art and says nice things about it, but it's when I just want a thank you or something isn't too much to ask.

Drawing for your boyfriend is the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time. Seriously put a smile on my face after a sh*tty night :)

What do you mean, liking it or faving it? Do you upload it to some website or something? Does he know you drew it just for him, or is it a drawing that could be seen as just a random drawing you thought up?

Anyway, does he show gratitude for other things? Ask him if the art means anything to him, knowing that you drew it especially for him

He likes it on Facebook and with add to favorites on a art site. I mean he does appreciate what I drew and give him. I guess he just doesn't know how comment on it, and he got upset when I was expecting more from him. I talked about it with him, so we worked it out.

I don't wanna sound rude but does he ask or want you to draw things for him? If not, then I'd just stop drawing for him if I were you. He supports it and says nice things about it, but I feel now that's enough for him. It's something YOU do, not something he should be involved in (or so I think he feels that way).

So just keep on drawing but just don't involve him anymore into it, because he doesn't respond like you want him to.
