I mean some say they do it to share it with friends and family but then what is the reason behind they want to share those photos to your family or friends, isn't it to show off at the end or to envy others, especially when it is done in SOCIAL MEDIA and not in private?
My perception is that they do it to brag and show off and envy others regarldess if it is family or friends, they do it with a purpose in mind, to show the public they have $$ and can spend ti in fine and chic way and internationally is much better than local or domestically, that they are not poor, like they do it to rub it in peoples face they have $$ so people comment on thsoe photos with "Ohh nice cities, keep enjoying life, phrases like that.
I mean I have seen friends who barely post things or anything on their Facebook account, sometimes they can spend months and months inactive on social media, but then when they do travel internationally, all of a sudden they fill their social media accounts Facebook or Instagram with lots of photos of their respective trips, why being inactive for so long and only are active when they travel abroad?
I mean you can still share your photos to friends or family in private over Whatassp, Telegram, etc or other private text apps and not necessarily post the photos on social media. I h ae also some acquatiances who post on theri social media accounts mostly Facebook photos of every trip they take locally or internationally and always caption with phrases such as "Enjoying life", "Life is so good", phrases like that. I mean sure lucky them they have good lives, good jobs, etc but not every person might be in their position to "enjoy life" probably. At this moment there is a former clasmate from high school who is a doctor and must earn a lot of money, he is now in Italy vacationing and enjoying life in Capri Island,

Positano with his pretty fit "3rd girlfriend" (haha!!!), yes it is his like 3rd girlfriend (after his divorce). He has 2 daughters from his ex wife but he did not take his daughters in this trip with him. He barely post photos on his FB but now he is filling it with photos to be seen with his lady and the trip. Anotehr former classmate from high school is the same, he is now in Spain, with his husband and filling FB with photos and photos. Why the need to impress? Why not being a little humble?

People brag because they're insecure. They want to be accepted, and they're not confident. So, it's like their mouth is telling their brain they really are good enough. Braggers work hard — weaving elaborate stories — to get the admiration they crave. A person shows off only when they need to. Only when they think that others don't consider them important will they try to prove that they're important
