Do you think that generally, smart phones have made our lives better?

I am old enough to remember a time when people weren't always carrying their smartphones. I got a Blackberry in around 2009. Generally, I think they have improved our lives due to the convenience they provide. For example, instead of having to go to a restaurant to pick up food, I can order it from my phone. That saves me time, allowing me to invest that time other ways. Texting is a time-saver too. I think these advantages are why people choose to spend their hard earned dollars on them. Counting Wifi, I would guess the average person spends roughly $1,000 a year on their cellphone. What do you think?

Yes, generally they have.
No, they have not.
