I guess its midtown for me. Thats where all the restaurants and sports games are. Downtown is kinda too professional and out of touch unless we’re having a street festival/concert. And tbh, I don’t even know if we have an uptown lol. If you’re unsure as well, i guess you csn just choose between city/country/subs #FeelFreeToList
Well I am having to guess at US terms here. I would say the city - meaning city center. Not sure if that is uptown or downtown. I think down town. Lots of good cafes.
Then there is Zone 3 (based on public transport zones). The girl who invented the phrase "So Zone 3" was a very good friend of mine. It meant gauche, ignorant and prone to violence and every other disagreeable human quality. Eventually the gov't had to remove Zone 3 from the public transport map in response to the bigoted phrase above. Basically Zone 3 is the outer burbs.
Midtown I think might be what I call inner city. I live in an inner city that has it's own F1 Grand Prix, as I have mentioned to you. If I am guessing right, mid town is where life is.
I don't know where uptown is here either but who gives an F?

Ach that Petula Clark song. An AMAZING classic.
In answer to your question, the city I'm nearest to? Downtown. The city I most like to visit (New York)? Midtown.
And, for you, Dizzy my friend, I gift you this version of Petula's song which you may not have heard:

I'm a homebody (unfortunately/fortunately), so I spend most of my time at home. If not there, then doing errands. If not there, then probably at the library or working or whatever. RARELY (but happily), I take trips to different parts of the county, if I need to do something there.
Boring I know, but I don't care. It's my life and that's the way I live it!
I prefer spending time downtown. In bricktown specifically.
Bricktown used to be the spot when I was in highschool. I miss my mama dropping me off down there when I was like 15/16 and me and my friends would walk around. The sonic headquarters used to be there and that used to be the meetup spot. You could find a little boo so easy.

No definitely uptown all the way lol
not only am I biased and being honesty lol but no one can top Bruno Mars’ uptown funk and billy Joel’s uptown girl.
catchy tunes but Bruno wasn’t singing about one girl- he was singing about UPtown uptown 😂
I don't usually go out just to roam without a purpose. there's no uptown , downtown or midtown where i love. Everything is evenly distributed so for a particular work such as dining, shopping etc , you might have to visit uptown or downtown or midtown
Yeah midtown in my city where there more restaurants and movie theaters and parks to hang out. Downtown is cool with a theater, revamped ballpark with a amusement park attached, and the Mississippi riverfront but it can be dangerous sometimes with homeless people and downtown is a little run down from age.
I dont live there in the nearest such city, the only area where I can send some time walkijg and people watching is south of downtown (i. e. the Brickell area). Downtown is crap and usually dead after evenings. There is no midtown or uptown here by name.
I live in a area which can be considered between midtown and uptown. I just prefer my home lol.😅
But when I am outside, I prefer to be in uptown.- u
We located about an 45 miles from New Orleans. We preffered going there.
But our downtown was decent kinda historic lots of cajun style restaurants because we so close to new orleans
I live about 12 minutes from downtown, so I'd say mid or downtown is where I like to spend more time. There is good Asian restaurants just right outside of downtown.
Our home is in a semi industrial area close to city center. Theater's, galleries malls, museums, parks all within biking distance. We love it. Events and concerts all weekend long.
We call it, "the village," or, "in town." Then we have, "the city."
Downtown. I work downtown, I live 4 blocks from downtown, and most of the restaurants/bars I frequent are downtown
it's always been downtown for me, donuts, parades, lights, compact buildings, just everything is there for me
The exurbs and, farther beyond, outright country. I live within the boundaries of a small historic tourist city that has recently experienced substantial industrial development after the closure of a Government munitions plant. Appalachia and and Confederate flags are within 50 miles. Bears and Lynxes are about 100.
Prob midtown. Downtown is just a bunch of drunk bachelorette woo girls. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but ya know
In my city... I rarely venture into the city centre as there are so many things I can do in the outer suburbs.
Hmm downtown I suppose lots of smaller shops around there.
Uptown 95% of the time.
Sleeping, eating, working at home and exercising.
Our little town isn't big enough to have 3 different areas. LOL.
I avoid downtown like the plague. Even before the plague.
D) Out of town. The farther from the city the better
