If you celebrate valentines day, what did you buy your SO as a gift?

I ended up making my husband a fruit basket with exotic fruits. I know weird gift but he isn't into candy.

Does anyone else get their SO weird things for v-day gifts or do y'all do the more normal chocolate/flowers type of gifts?

My fav co-worker said yesterday that she didn't care about Valentine's but was interested in orchids, so I gave her some orchid in her fav color together with sparkling wine and chocolate. The other co-workers surprised me with having bet on whether I'd give her something for Valentine's. But we were all surprised when just an hour later another gift was sent to our workplace, and the other female co-workers even got jealous at that point. It turned out that she got flowers from both her admirer and her ex.

My wife and I both thought we had to work late but due to bad weather we ended up with the evening off. Our planned date is next Tuesday... Have reservations and babysitter lined up. We ended up ordering takeout from one of our favorite restaurants and watching a movie cuddled up on the couch. We haven't exchanged gifts yet but I got her some perfume she loves but always says is too expensive, as well as some socks (a running joke in our relationship).

I got him a bracelet he's been wanting and some other accessories, he got me a fancy wash cloth (I like to scrape off the top layer of my skin when I'm showering) and a cute plushie to add to my collection. We will save cards for tonight when we have dinner.
