I have a girlfriend and we never talk it's because she's shy and I don't know what to talk about when I'm with her

I find it weird that you don't know how to talk to yourgirlfriendso ill help you out.I am actually really shy but when I keep talking to someone overtime I start to feel more confident around them.So what I am trying to say is that you should try to talk about something she may like.And to keep talking to her.The last thing I want is for a guy to feel like I am not worthy to talk to.I hate when a guy and I are in a conversation and he just sstops cause I am not talking.Shy people just need a little pus.Its not that we don't want to talk we just don't want to say something stupid. then how can she be your girlfriend is you never talk to each other? do you even know much about each other (traits, hobbies, interests, etc)? I'm kind of confused by how she became your girlfriend when she can't even speak to you.? Can you explain? Sorry, I'm a little confused :S

I was in a similar situation, it doesn't seem like any of these other people have been in that sort of situation so they don't get it, my suggestion to you would be to joke around with her a lot help make her feel more comfortable around you, she might just not have a whole lot to say, try asking her things that won't have a one answer response, and also keep talking to prevent awkward silence and keep her interested. I don't have a whole lot of advice outside of that. I hope this helps.

i don't know how you could have a girlfriend and not know how to talk to her either. that doesn't really make a lot fo sense. I could understand if she is shy around other people but there is absolutly no reason she should be shy around you. it seems like she might be embarassed about something, that's usually a pretty common factor when someone is anti-social. take her on a date that will force her out of her shell or confront her about it.
