When I guy says I really like you, what does that mean?

You have to remember that guys are simple creatures. They normally mean exactly what they say. The only time they don't say what they mean is when they are trying to say what they think we want to hear. So when he says that he likes you he means just that. Women have a tendency to read into things a lot more than we should. This over analyzing often causes us to worry and question things that really should just be left as they are. So I think that you should just go with the flow and if you like him too then go for it.

I've had two guys say this to me on separate occasions. I've found it to mean they want to date you (if you aren't dating already). And if you ARE already dating. it just means they really, really like you. :) No subtle undertones here.
