Drinking boyfriend...help?

I disagree with people saying "he's young, let him have fun." Honestly, he's underaged, and regardless of what people think of the law, it's illegal. Period. It's unacceptable. If he needs alcohol to have fun, you should bring it up in conversation and let him know it bothers you. What course of action he takes from there is up to him. He cannot control what he does while drunk, it doesn't matter if he "feels in control", he isn't. He's inebriated. BUT, he can control if he drinks. If he values your relationship and your opinion, it will show. If he doesn't and continues to drink, you have to decide if he is someone you want to spend your life with.

let him go out and have fun, its his life.

if he's not drinking on a regular basis he should be fine.

the more you try to control him or tell him not to do something

hes just going to go out and do it more.

its all about trust, and letting him know you trust him,

yeah I understand ur worried, but everything will be fine

if you just let him experience a little.
